Heronissos Hotel - All inclusive

The staff were excellent, so friendly and efficient, would like to mention in particular Artan and Antonis. Very prompt response from Reception and Management in solving my issue with lost property. Food could not be faulted, lovely variety. What a gem of a hotel ? Nothing to report.

The staff was great, first class service, We got a renew room, Very best value for money. Nice food. Very clean hotel.

Very nice and attentive staff, rich varied buffets.Personal welcome from the hotel manager, wishes are immediately taken and implemented if possible. Here I come again with pleasure. Also the sights on the island invite you to stay and come back, very happy, it was a nice week.

The staff were always ready and willing to assist. The Manageress Fortini in particular went out of her way to welcome and ensure all the guests got the best possible service and provided a very warm and personal welcome to us all. Demitri the barman was very attentive and worked hard to see to the guests every need and always with a smile. The Restaurant felt a little cramped, with tables too close to one another.

Everything was at superlative. Very varied and tasty food. The room very clean, cleaning room service every day including change of sheets and towels. Very polite staff, all behave as a big family and indeed make you feel really good.  I have never met such a kind staff. The hotel is near the beach, 1minute distance. The beach is very nice and there are a lot of restaurants, bars, night clubs in the area, this is a very animated area. We will come back for sure. We fall in love with Crete!

The hotel was clean staff friendly but dining area did not flow properly.You found yourself having to que again all the way round after the salad bar. Also the bed creaked that much when you turned over it woke you up.

Room was nice and big although the furnitures and stuff were quite old. Pool size was good and big enough Air conditioners works nice and keeps the room always cool Location is really good It was also really nice that general manager welcomed us personally and asked our feelings. It was a nice experience to be welcomed by the general manager of the hotel. We felt special. Receptionist was nice -Foods were average. Nothing special. Unfortunately some foods did not have any tags so we did not know the integrents. -Beer was not tasting good at all. The taste was so watery. Also it tasted as alcohol percentage was so less. Bartender said it’s 4% but to me it tasted as much less. -Wines were not good. Quality was not good. So we did not have an ideal alcoholic beverage option next to our meals -Pool area had weak Wi-Fi signal so the internet was not good. (Our second place) Also the connection was not stable in our room either. There were interruptions. -Room TV was not working. It was giving the warning that “please check antenna” connection

This hotel deserves 5* ! Everything looks better than on photos ! It’s located just few minutes walk from the beach . The rooms are super clean and quiet,the pool area is wide with a lot of umbrellas, sun beds and sitting places. Food was excellent ! Stuff was super kind and professional ! Special thanks to the beautiful lady Fotini (she is the most kind person in Hersonissos) for all the favors she has done to us and made our holiday unforgettable! Definitely we ll come back next summer!

1. The director of the hotel- very nice and friendly, and helpful- she solved a lot of problems. 2. The staff- at the bar, in the restaurant, reception desk. 3. Localisation near the Crete Convenient Centre and the sea. 4. The food in the restaurant.

The value for the price and also the friendly staff in the hotel from very kind cleaning lady till manager everybody made us feel very very welcome.! My husband and I never experienced a personal approach like this it was kind of special. We had such a wonderful time in Greece ? Nothing everything was totally fine ?

We had a great experience, the hotel staff was exceptional, especially the hotel director. She made our stay special with her hospatility, and as we saw it, she did it for every guests at the hotel. The food is good for this price, everyone can find something that they like. The hotel is clean, it has a great location, few meters from the sea.

Nice hotel with very kind and hard worker staff. Overall the food is ok, regarding the all inclusive option it is limited to breakfast (7-9:45am), lunch (12.15-14.30), and dinner (18:30-21:00) + limited number of beverages at the pool bar (only bar), no snacks in the meantime. Food: Overall ok, fresh and crunchy veggies, fresh fruits, which is usually not the case in other hotels in this area. However, protein (meats) options are limited and not outstanding. At least 85% of the food is the same every day, meaning low variety. Bread is good. All drinks come from a dispenser, wine, beer, soft drinks, real pepsi normal and zero, and coffee. Beer is ok. The air conditioner works very well Very good location, close to the port and city center. From the airport you can take the public bus KTEL until the stop number 20. Be prepared for queueing at the restaurant, and bar as well, ALWAYS, as the restaurant is too small for this hotel and in the bar there is usually only one person working. The wifi connection is very weak in high floors, hence swimming pool is your best option to have a decent internet connection. The worst part is that there is an internet antenna in the high floor ( but doesn't work) , I called reception, and they told me to go downstairs in order to get a decent internet connection. Scrambled Eggs made from powder, and there is no real butter, just something having 64% of butter and the rest is some margarine. The coffee taste is terrible (there's not a real coffee machine). Drinks are: tequila sunrise, cuba libre, screw driver, gin tonic, san francisco, but all of them are diluted. If you pay for a drink then you will get a real alcohol including real fruits. Rooms: Very old. The mattress is very uncomfortable, when I am moving, my wife is jumping. No iron, I requested one at reception and they don't have because of security reasons ( it is really a joke). I found a cockroach in my room (maybe by chance came from the balcony)

Was a lovley friendly hotel, clean, good location food was good not a great deal of choice but good well stocked and fresh would recommend depending on what budget your travelling on but yes definitely worth a visit. When I checked in which was about 10:30pm the bar was still open we had been travelling all day abit of refreshments would have been nice. If the check in would have been smooth, but said the card machine was broken so I would have to pay cash as i don't carry much cash got told to go to cash machine, but 1 of the staff escorted me which was nice of him, then by the time we were back and checked in everything was closed so basically paid for a bed for the night other than that no problem at all.

Location and Swimming Pool are magnificent! A little light on Entertainment/Animation but feel I may have been a little to early in the season .. We had 1 minor issue here and raised this with the receptionist. I will add that the matter was resolved very professionally by the Manageress and we shall definitely return to this hotel..?

Most of the staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful Good location close to the beach and the town center. The pool and the pool bar were great For a 4 star hotel tel a few things could be improved The food we ate the same things during 5 days and I was expecting to eat more traditional Cretan dishes I felt like eating in a canteen. It would have been great to have more options at the bar if you don't drink alcohol. We asked for a small bottle of shower gel because we finished ours and were told it wasn't possible to have more than one.

I should say , this trip was unforgettable, people who is working there ( especially miss Foteini), really care about guests , and do everything they can to make quests happy, we were in the 3 floor with the swimming pool view and a bit of sea view, you know , I’m not a person who really care about view, because ,I came for a trip not to spend my in the room, be honest the idea about all inclusive- really great , even you have around many restaurants ( because hotel is located right in a middle of beautiful city Hersonissos), it’s really nice food and be honest comfortable to not think about where to eat Pool area is renovated , clean , nice sun beds, you can have drinks by the pool , which is in all inclusive what I really care , because , I travel a lot - people , who is working at the hotel - these people are great , because it was my birthday present for my man, they organised even a birthday cake surprise , what was really amazing I wish I could come already tomorrow ) love it best regards, Julia none

Rooms need renovation. But for that price that i pay for my stay - it worth it 100%. Super nice personal, hotel location, big pool area, alot of sunbeads, easy access to all facilities. Sleep quality was good. All Inclusive was very good. Good drinks in poolbar, especially beer, it is better then in local bars, because beer is cretan, not greek. Food was veeeery gooood, alot of choice every day. Fish, pork, beef, and also local cretan food. Cuisine, mousaka, Salats, olives, midias, etc. Vegeterian food also. Then there was pizza, burgers, kebab, so , i got +2kg due my stay :D i recomend this hotel, and when i will go to crete again - i would definately stay in this hotel again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Tasty food. No entertainment in the evening.
