Velissarios Hotel

It was close to the beach, and the staff were helpful and nice, wifi was good but it didn't work for two days during our stay. Old rooms, broken tiles, rust on toilet tank, bathroom wasn't cleaned thoroughly, scale on taps and tiles, broken hangers for towls in the toilet, no hangers in the closet, no utilities, close to main street and its too loud from cars and cafes. Only a single socket available, and not even close to the bed. A plank from the bed broke down, cheaply made. The furniture is too old. It is cheap, yes, but doesn't deserve above 6, definitely not 8.4. Definitely the worst accomodation that we have ever been.

Nothing When we walked into the hotel, there was not even anybody there to greet us. The hotel looks very rundown. The lobby looks dirty we get into a room finally after paying 5 euros for air conditioning. Later that night we realize that the patio door of our room was broken it would not close and we were on the first level of the hotel, so anybody could’ve just walked in when. we went to tell the staff the manager he told us that he knew it was broken but he still checked in three young girls into this room? When we asked for a different room he told us no and he laughed at us saying:”what’s going to happen to you?”after an hour somebody finally came and took the whole lock and door knob apart, and finally it was fixed but that was only after we asked for a refund. The next morning as we were checking out of our hotel, there was random men sleeping in the lobby who were beaten up, passed out, but he still laughed at us the night before about three young women, not wanting to sleep alone in a room that doesn’t lock.

We stayed one night, everything was perfect, great location. Friendly stаff, we arrived late and the host were there to meet us.

Good location and clean rooms, fair price Double bed was actually 2 singles pushed together, didn't put me off, but worth noting :)

The best things about this place are the stuff and the location. The stuff is more than I have expected - very friendly and helpful. I got all I need from their side : breakfast on short notice(on charge), AC remote(on charge) , iron(free), information about the bus to the airport and anything else I need to have a nice stay there. Fair report money/comfort. The room comfort can be improved, there is no doubt : shower, beds, TV subscription & size etc. Though, I could relaxed and enjoyed my vacation.

Excellent location. The breakfast is good and everyone is very friendly. Cutlery was not clean enough.

Greeted by a very polite gentleman on reception who made us feel very welcome. The room was so spacious, clean and the old decor made us love it more! Breakfast was more of a bonus due to how much we paid for the room and couldn’t fault what we eat. Shampoo when having a shower (but that isn’t the end of the world) ?

The staff couldn't be more helpful and accommodating. The hotel is really well located to town and beaches (I recommend star beach). Great value for money.
