villa Seagull

We stayed in this villa with a spacious kitchen-living room for more than two weeks. We liked everything: location, cleanliness, comfort, the villa fully corresponds to the photos and our expectations. Special thanks to Aruni and her family ❤️ for their hospitality, care, help (if needed) and delicious food? Now we have our own Sri Lankan family☺️?We will be happy to come back here again!

The place is very close to the beach. You can reach both touristic beaches and wild beaches. There is a bus stop very close to the Villa but the shops can be reached also by walking or with a tuk tuk. The train station is passing next to the Villa but for us it wasn’t annoying at all. The air conditioning is very well working and the place is extremely clean. The owner is very kind and friendly. She made us an amazing breakfast every morning. All in all, it has been a wonderful stay.

Very nice place and owners. Room was big and clean. Only 2 min walk to the beach. Train' s run so close it's a little noise.

This villa is really cozy and first of all because of its amazing host - Aruni! Best recommendations from her about places to visit, cafes and she serves wonderful breakfast!!! Villa is located not far from the beach. It’s clean and has everything for comfortable staying. We spent two nights there and can recommend for longer staying. And we will return to this villa in our next trip to Sri Lanka.

The owners were warm and friendly .The breakfast was awesome. The place was great with a huge comfortable bed .The shared community area was a bonus with drinking water and access to a fridge and cooking facilities and a fab lounge area.Inside and out the place was pristine - you could eat your dinner off the floor it was so clean . I can't say enough good things about this place and the owners who go above and beyond to ensure you have a memorable stay. Nothing to say it was all great

this is a very nice and modern Villa and it is perfect placed. she is an amazing host - very kind and helpful. there was a train very close to the Villa and you could hear it every time I crossed. this was not a problem and you get used to it.

Its the best villa you can find on the SriLanka: Very clean rooms You can ask for breakfast You can ask for laundry Both rooms has Air conditioners and Fans (on the ceiling) Bathrooms has hot water. Lobby has Gas stove, fridge, cooler, toaster, teapot Good wifi in rooms.

we liked everything about property it’s fantastic the owners very very friendly it felt like home from home I will stay here next time in hikkaduwa 100% there is not anything I didn’t like fantastic

We booked a month at Villa Seagull and we are so glad we did, what an amazing stay we had. Aruni and Harsha are wonderful people and have their two rooms to rent and keep the place spotless. We booked both rooms as two couples and had the communal areas to ourselves. The owners live just behind in their own house and are always at hand if you need them. The breakfast included in the price was wonderful with eggs every day, toast, jam, fruit and tea. Harsha has a tuk tuk and will organise any trips you need and even fetch you cases of beer in to save you carrying them. I can honestly say it was like being with family. During our stay we took two little holidays and the accommodation in both was no where near as good as Villa Seagull. We made the best choice booking here for a month and would go back 100%. Do not hesitate to book this property. We were the 1st guests in since April and they have had a hard time of it what with covid and then this year with problems in Sri Lanka. They fully deserve a full year of bookings for sure. nothing

Nice place, very nice host, just off the main drag, 2 minutes to gorgeous beach, great breakfast, the most comfortable bed, hot shower if you need, lovely setting, very secure and strong Wifi, use of fridge.

We had the best time at Aruni‘s place. The rooms and Villa in general were sparkling clean and equipped with everything you could need. The kitchen was perfect for cooking, but there are really nice restaurants in walking distance as well. It‘s a two minute walk from an amazing beach that isn‘t crowded at all. The bus stop is also really close. Aruni herself was the perfect host. She was super nice and always available. She made us an amazing breakfast every morning with eggs, toast and lots of fruits. She also helped us with stuff like pcr tests, printing or money exchange. Aruni always greeted us with a smile, which made us feel really welcome & at home here. no complaints at all, it‘s the perfect place to stay!

Best place where we have been in Sri Lanka. Room is very clean and nice. And of course there was the best breakfast, so many fruits❤️. The owner is very friendly and nice lady❤️. We definitely recommend this place?

1. Its super new (built in 2019), has 2 rooms for accomodation and 1 open kitchen with the fridge 2. The place is SUPER CLEAN, just amazing. and after 3 days the lady offers you the cleaning and clean towels, which is super nice 3. The breakfast is delicious and rich of fruits and u can order it for convenience time 4. Its possible to order a laundry service 5. Its close to the beach (just cross the road) and close to the bus stop on the main road (e.g if u wanna go to Galle or Colombo) 6. The Lady, Anuri,is really kind and careful which makes more comfy the accomidation 1. If u have any troubles with sleep, it will be difficult for you because the train way is right next to the place. 2. If u r going back after 10pm, u have to ask the host so not close the gate (because there is no key from the gate)

It is truly an amazing place to stay: it's very clean, new, the location is great. Aruni, the host, did her best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Originally we booked the place for 14 nights but decided to stay here for 2 more weeks. I highly recommend this guest house, it is a great value for money. If I come to Sri Lanka again, I'd definitely stay here again :)

The property is about 2 minutes on foot to the most beautiful beaches in Hikkaduwa( perhaps Sri Lanka). Aruni (the host) and her Husband are very very welcoming people and they made everything in their power to have the best stay. i definitely come again the only - is that the House is near the train railway.. but i think in the future this problem can be solved :)
