Beach House Resort Hilton Head

The rooms are comfortable if you book a junior suite. The standard rooms feel a little musty and dated. The junior suites have ample room, are well decorated and comfortable. The staff was pleasant and were very helpful and accommodating us with a walk-in shower due to elderly family members traveling with us. We appreciated their understanding and accommodating this need. Overall, the property offers, nice amenities, a great tiki hut, and excellent food.

The location was unbeatable and our main reason for staying at the property. Great beach access, the Tiki bar and live music was awesome. We enjoyed eating and lounging around the pool. The only downside are the very old and very worn rooms. The hotel rooms desperately need a remodel, especially the bathrooms.

Love it all

This property is a bit dated, and definitely shows some wear and tear. However, the pool, tiki hut, and easy beach access makes up for any defects to the property. The pool area is great! Comfortable loungers with plenty of umbrellas and servers walking around to take drink and food orders. The Tiki Hut on the beach has live music ALL day which was really nice as well. Even though the rooms and inside of the hotel is dated, it was clean. Housekeepers always seen working hard cleaning, mopping floors in hallways, cleaning glass, etc. This resort was full of young families with children as well. I would definitely stay here again.

Location was great but not worth the price.

The location of the hotel is the best.

The resort overall was just ok. Our room was fine, but definitely was in need of some maintenance. Fridge didn’t work and phone only worked when using speaker. Bathtub had cracks and curtains in room were noticeably stained. Room could also use a deep cleaning, especially in corners.

The room was clean as far as the bedding is concerned but the curtains and the cushions on the chair were not. The room was also very muggy when we arrived and it wasn’t until we turned on the ac did it get better. The staff were very helpful. The beach was easy accessible to the hotel. The pool was my favorite part because only the people staying at the hotel had access and the restaurant right next to it was very good to have. One tip, make sure that if you are charging food to your room you close out the tab because they will add an automatic 20% tip to the check.

Rust in bathroom. Floors still wet from mopping. Place looks run down. Very basic accommodation.

Location is perfect, pool is heavenly and staff were mostly great, bands at the tiki hut were pretty great, guy working at the pool everyday was so so friendly and always really helpful, loved the little smoothie/breakfast place by the pool. Our room wasn’t cleaned properly, super overpriced for a room that felt very dated/not renovated like in the pictures, not having a balcony to dry towels and swim stuff totally blowed, tiki hut was overrated, they didn’t light the fire pits by the stage at all, staff at the front porch and tiki restaurants were kind of rude and not friendly. Biggest let down was that this property never really felt family friendly or accommodating to families and small children.

The Tiki Hut draws a lot of offsite guests, which makes it very crowded for the guests staying at the hotel. Beach access is excellent and steps away from the hotel. It’s a crowded beach with public access so it gets very busy. Walking distance to shops and restaurants is a nice perk of the location.

It was not a great experience. All in all, it was fine but wouldn't recommend it or stay again.

Exceptional

In front of the beach with live music, pool and so close to restaurants and small stores, everything is walking. This time, my bathroom was old, need more upgrade but thus is my second time here and I loved.

Loved the location of the property . Next to the beach, great pool , live music. The staff there is amazing for sure. Very clean . We paid or a premium room. But we were by the elevator and the ice machine so not sure what premium means but the noise reduction could have been better. I didnt care for how late the check in is..limits use of the facilities and beach if your only there one night.

If you are traveling with your pets, the location is pet friendly but it comes with a price. We got hit with a $100 per pet per night fee. Our 3 night stay cost an additional $600.

I loved the beach access, very convenient with kids and pool was amazing. The thing I didn’t like was that it doesn’t have the full room service everyday and you have to request it, it should be given by default because with beach, you bring sand and it becomes so annoying and disgusting when you don’t have room service.
