Good yakitori pub just around the corner. Very conscientious staff and excellent service! Thank you. Bed was kind of hard and uncomfortable. Can I have a free coffee in the room?

Very easy access from train station We were given smoking rooms that did definitely smell a lot. We wanted alternative even paying more but staff did not want to consider.

The location was great and easy to find I could not prepay and even though paying by card was an option, it didn't work so I had to head to an ATM for cash. The bathroom looked clean but had a funny moldy smell. The room was clean at a glance, but as we sat there we started to notice dirt and stains. Plus the fridge did not work

Good location.

Quiet place, no one would bother you. Good privacy. The two male staff rotated at the reception were very polite and knew a little English. There is a coin launderette with rates cheaper than nearby hotels. Toilets were tiny and the flushing system was quite noisy. Only one key was issued and it had to be handed to the front desk when going out the hotel. Lighting was very dim in the rooms, giving a love hotel vibe. Not a suitable place for kids or to do some actual work on your laptop. There was a lot of dust on the ledge above the headboard the first day we checked in. We wiped it down with wet wipes. One of the ladies on duty in the afternoon looked very nonchalant at the reception. The only form of communication she gave was nodding and shaking her head.

Everything. A little chill hotel for a good price and not far from Himeji Castle. It's also really clean and the personnel were respectful and nice.
-
Good location, convenient, clean (a little dusty but nothing major) Only thing is the window opens the whole way up to the point you could climb/fall out. Not easily but could be done by a young kid potentially.

Would have loved coffee available in the lobby

Loved the room, it was very comfortable and the staff were all so lovely. It was central location which was a big plus for us.

The features of a business hotel were available including a microwave near reception. We could easily walk to a supermarket to pick up food to eat in. Also, we were able to walk comfortably to the Castle and train station. There was a slightly higher than usual step up into the bathroom which is OK for us but could be a challenge for someone with impaired mobility. The name of the hotel wouldn't come up in English on Google Maps. We had to take it on faith that we were going to the correct location - we were. We are used to the names of the hotels showing in English and often Japanese as well which is reassuring. Not sure if that is the result of the hotel's choice or Google Maps.
