The location was excellent. There is a fresh food market next door for cheap groceries on the way home, and a very nice Italian restaurant 50m away. The train station was a 7 minute slow walk away. The Hotel had a problem with their hot water. There were many signs posted in the building. It was randomly very (painfully) hot, and the temperature would swing from cool to hot.

Location Rooms were in very pathetic condition. In the room there was a hole in the wall. Room was dirty. Not properly maintained. In friend’s room, the smell was so unpleasant and unbearable that we had to go for a different room. Even the front lobby teapoy was damaged. Never expected !!

It is near to the train station. They announce free WiFi, but it is working only in the reception hall and in the first three floors, as well as on the street in front of the gate. I was on the fifth floor and there was no internet, no working wi-fi. I need it in every hotel because I make photos and have to transfer them in the evening to Google in order to free the memory of my phone. I told them and in the beginning there was no reaction, and later they changed my room to the 9th floor but there was no internet again. I had to stay down in the reception hall several hours till the night using their working WiFi there. The stuff in the reception hall is absent every morning and they explain this with some Emergency situation from 2021! It is amazing. In the reception hall when I arrived there was a man and a young woman as a stuff, but later and in the night till 12 p.m. there was only the same guy. Then he has gone in some room back, appearing in some moments till 1 or 2 a.m.. Such problems with wi-fi working in the reception hall but not in the rooms, although announced and showing connection, I have seen in at least two other hotels in Kyushu, maybe in Fukuoka and Kumamoto, not sure now. In this hotel in the room there are some useless big box with kitchen inside and water supply for looking, taking a lot of places in the room. The light is to switch of near the door, I don't remember well, but it seems to me they have nothing to switch of the light near the bad. This situation with the wi-fi made me stay hours in the lobby instead of going to the room and have a rest. There was senseless changing the rooms. Very boring. .

Cheap! I made the reservation at the last minute, and it was less than 5,000 a night. It’s located just one street away from the station, which is quite convenient for shopping and eating out. The izakaya around the hotel was quite lively and worth exploring. There was a hole in the wall! It’s 5cm wide and has a big hole on the headboard side of the bed. They haven’t even tried to fix it and put duct tape over it. It’s half removed and left hanging. I could see tissues and dust in it. While I managed to cover the hole with paper and tape, it left me wondering about potential risks. What if there was a bug, toxic material, or even a camera in it? The fact that the hotel left it like that and still sold the room is concerning. The room, especially the bath area need to have better cleaner as well.

Nice view and good location No parking

Easy access to Himeji castle. Beds were small & there’s no water bottles.

Location We booked the room for two people but only one amenities, a set of cup and glass, slippers and a set of pillows. The reception closes 1030 and by the time we found we have only two small pillows not 4, it was too late to ask.

The location is great, being between the station and the Himeji Castle. And there's a convenience store right around the corner. We've been travelling in Japan for 3 weeks now and this is the worst stay we had. The bed was super uncomfortable. The shower almost burnt my skin a few times because the temperature keeps changing all of a sudden for no reason. The bath tub leaks and flooded the bathroom the one time we used it. The furniture is very old and beat up. On top of all of this, me and my husband both got sick as soon as we got into the room (we were perfectly fine till that point), and we believe it's because of all the dust mites in the sheets.

Dirty carpets and furniture in a matchbox " deluxe room" . I requested extra pillows 2 days before. At check in the lazy 18 year old said they didn't have any. They didn't have any....pillows....I worked in hotels for 10 years and know what a stupid answer that is.
