Sky Gem Central Hotel

This is my third time staying at Sky Gem Central, and they maintain their high standards beautifully. The rooms are just as clean and fresh as my first visit, and the staff remembered my preference for a quiet room away from the lift. It truly feels like a home away from home on Dong Du street. The slippers provided in the room are the standard single-use disposable type, which can be a bit flimsy. I usually just bring my own pair now, so it doesn't impact my stay at all.

If you love food, stay here. You are steps away from high-end French dining, authentic Vietnamese pho, Japanese hidden gems, and great street food. The hotel's own breakfast buffet was a great start to the day, featuring a rotating menu of local noodle dishes that tasted very authentic. The pastry selection at breakfast was a bit limited mostly just toast and croissants. I would have loved to see a few more local sweet treats or pastries on offer.

I love hotels with character, and Sky Gem Central feels very charming. The color palette in the room is soothing, and the decorative details give it a nice local touch. The bedding felt very luxurious for this price point, and the bathroom tile work was beautiful and clean. The drainage in the shower stall was a bit slow on my first night. I mentioned it to the front desk the next morning, and they cleared it up immediately while I was out.

As someone who works on the go, internet reliability is everything. The Wi-Fi here didn't drop once, and the speeds were impressive. The room desk was comfortable enough for a few hours of typing. Whenever I needed a break, I just walked out to one of the dozens of specialty coffee shops on Dong Du. The power outlet near the bed in my room was a little loose, so my heavier laptop charger kept slipping out easily. In the end, I plugged it directly into the wall outlet near the desk area, and it worked perfectly.

I needed a quiet place to rest between a tight schedule of meetings. My room was located toward the back of the building and was surprisingly peaceful despite being in the center of town. The bed was firm and comfortable, the bathroom was pristine, and the morning buffet had a good espresso machine. The wardrobe space was a bit limited. It's perfectly fine for a short 2-or 3-night stay, but might feel a little tight if you are staying for a couple of weeks with a lot of suits.

Location is definitely a plus, close to many attractions. The room was clean and modern, but lighting was a bit dim for my liking. Staff were polite and responsive. Overall still a comfortable stay.

Great location and staff! I had a room overlooking the river. Very comfortable! The staff are amazing especially the door men and breakfast workers. Breakfast is served on the top floor by the pool. They had different types of noodles every day! Outstanding! One elevator, kind of slow, but it did not matter.

Hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. Room is spacious. Breakfast was good. Room view is not good. There is a building under construction next to the room and they were jackhammering until 9:30pm. I contacted the front desk to see if they could make them stop but the staff disregarded my request. In my opinion its the hotel's staff duty to enforce noise ordinances, but they did not share that view. If I was the owner of the hotel, I would take this issue seriously. Hotel price was high compared to the room and noise level.

Hotel’s location grate. The hotel is close to famous tourist attractions like Central post office, Nguyen Hue walking street. Staff was very helpful and kind. Room was not clean and not enough space. Generally housekeeping services were problems. Old and dirty towels, not cleaning room etc. There was not enough food for breakfast. There was s lot of noise coming into the room from outside.

The room wasn’t huge, but it was very comfortable and had everything I needed. The hotel’s central location was convenient for getting around and attending meetings

My sister and I picked Sky Gem Central because it’s close to famous tourist spots but still quiet. The room was clean and comfortable. Although it didn’t have a city view, the natural light in the room was great. The rooftop pool was a nice bonus

The bathroom was nice, the bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet even though the hotel is in the heart of the city. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I loved the rooftop pool for a relaxing evening

As an international traveler, I was very impressed with the location and service at Sky Gem Central. It’s only a short walk to major shopping centers and restaurants. The room was compact but very clean and well-maintained. I enjoyed the rooftop pool with a great city view

This was my first time in Ho Chi Minh City, and I chose Sky Gem Central for its great location. The hotel is close to famous tourist attractions like Nguyen Hue Walking Street and Ben Thanh Market, but still quiet enough to rest.

The location was ideal for visiting the main tourist sites, yet the hotel was quiet and relaxing. The family room was spacious and had all the amenities we needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the rooftop pool
