Worst stay ever I booked a 75 m² room that accommodates up to 4 adults. Our group consisted of 3 adults and 2 children. The children slept with the adults, and we did not request an extra bed, extra breakfast, or any additional services. In fact, our room rate did not even include breakfast, so charging an additional fee for the children made absolutely no sense since they were not using any extra services or amenities. Despite this, the hotel demanded an additional 1,000,000 VND per day. What was even more unbelievable was the explanation they gave. They claimed that because they had already registered the number of guests with the local police, they needed to charge us extra in order to “update the registration with the local police.” Frankly, this explanation is absurd and insulting to guests’ intelligence. If the hotel has an occupancy limit or an extra guest policy, then clearly disclose it in your booking terms. Don’t use the police as an excuse to justify an additional charge. Just a few days earlier, I stayed at another 4-star hotel in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, with the exact same number of adults and children, and there were no additional charges or issues whatsoever. This hotel’s handling of the situation was completely unprofessional. To make matters worse, before arrival I received an email informing me that toothbrushes are not provided and that guests must purchase one for 10,000 VND, supposedly because the proceeds are donated to a marine conservation organization. I fully support environmental initiatives and charitable causes. However, a 4-star hotel charging guests for a basic toiletry such as a toothbrush is simply unacceptable. Sustainability should never be used as an excuse to reduce the basic standards of hospitality that guests are paying for. The issue is not the amount of money. The issue is the hotel’s lack of transparency, professionalism, and respect for its guests.

Everything, the decor was fabulous, the gym and the pool were beautiful and inviting, staff were friendly and helpful. Absolutely nothing to dislike.

The Amanaki is convenently loacted close to the Airport in District 2. A gorgeous hotel with a hint of the glamour of old Saigon it is always one of my favourite places to stay. The rooms are clean and generous, the staff fireineldy and accomaditing and the restaurant worth the trip alone. Lots of nightlife options in the surrounding streets but the hotel is nice and quiet.

Shout out to Phoebe the wonderful staff who spoke beautiful English and was very patient with us. The entire team was super helpful and would always smile. The hotel itself smelt lovely; like a wellness centre. Clean, classical vintage decor blended with modern amenities and facilities. Fantastic breakfast served by the restaurant next door. I regret not finding the time to try their cocktails which looks stunning in photos. There was a lot of restaurants and general amenities nearby; Starbucks is 5-minutes away for example. There really isn't much I can nitpick on. The swimming pool was wonderfully located on the 10th floor and had a stunning view of the city. I guess if the price of the hotel was more approachable I would without reservation give this place a 10/10 and visit every time I'm in Saigon.

I was looking for a hotel in Thao Dien and this I believe is the best choice there. Great rooms with atmosphere. Wonderful staff. A little hidden in a dead end street but this makes it more quiet. Still close to the main street.

A/C was broken in my room which was the most expensive one. Got down graded to a much cheaper room and still had to pay full cost. And the A/C was not fully working in the first room as it was super hot in there 28-30c with A/C on max. And cheaper room a/c on minimum was really cold so...

SUPER SUPER SUPER I stayed over hundreds of hotels and this hits the 1%. Highly recommend and super staff just best in HCMC!!!!!!!! nothing but having to let out the secret of a good place )

I wouldn't say I didn't like it but the pool could use just a little heating. Its covered up so we didn't get much sun which made swimming a little difficult but we did enjoy spending a little time outside relaxing.
