After a long travel day, I wasn't in the best mood. A few minutes chatting with reception completely changed that. Friendly people can make a bigger difference than fancy facilities.

Nothing fancy, but it gave me enough energy to start the day without immediately searching for food. Quick, convenient, and appreciated.

I left early most mornings and came back late most evenings. The hostel worked perfectly as a comfortable base between adventures.

My experience was extremely disappointing. At check in, the receptionist wanted to take a photo of my passport. I politely explained that I was not comfortable with my passport being photographed and simply asked if there was an alternative way to complete the registration. Instead of explaining the policy professionally or discussing possible alternatives, the receptionist became upset and cancelled my reservation. What disappointed me most was not the passport request itself, but the complete lack of professionalism in handling a simple question. I fully understand that hotels must verify guests' identity and comply with local regulations. However, there is a significant difference between checking a passport and insisting on photographing it without being willing to discuss a guest's legitimate privacy concerns. As my reservation was cancelled, I cannot comment on the rooms or facilities. Based on my experience, however, the level of customer service and professionalism was far below what I would expect from any hotel. I would not recommend this property based on the way guests are treated.

After spending all day exploring the city, it was nice returning somewhere familiar and comfortable. The air conditioning worked well and the bed was surprisingly comfortable.

I had several places on my list that were difficult to locate. Reception took the time to explain where they were and the easiest way to get there.

One evening the weather was terrible and everyone ended up hanging around indoors. It turned into one of the most enjoyable nights of my trip.

The location was the main reason I booked and it didn't disappoint. Plenty happening around the area and lots of food options nearby. If you prefer complete silence at night, this probably isn't the neighbourhood for you.

One thing I enjoyed was how easy it was to start conversations with other guests. Every evening seemed to bring new travel stories and recommendations.

I wasn't actively looking to socialise but somehow ended up meeting lots of interesting travellers anyway. That's usually a sign of a good hostel.

The tourist attractions were great, but some of the places recommended by staff ended up being even better. Especially the food spots.

I was heading to Cambodia next and had a million questions. The staff patiently explained different transport options and helped me choose the one that suited me best.

The location initially attracted me, but the staff and other guests ended up being my favourite part of the stay. Lots of good conversations and useful advice.

It wasn't a party hostel, but it wasn't boring either. There was always a chance to meet people if you wanted to. The atmosphere felt natural.

As a solo traveller, feeling safe is important. The hostel was well managed and I always felt comfortable coming and going, even late at night.

Walk outside and you'll immediately find restaurants, cafés, bars, and street food. Great if you enjoy being in the middle of things.

One of my favourite things was being able to step outside and immediately find food, coffee, or something interesting to do. The location really is that convenient.

If you like doing your own thing but still enjoy meeting people occasionally, this place is ideal. Social when you want it, peaceful when you don't.

The staff always greeted guests warmly. Dorm rooms are simple, though clean enough.

Clean room, comfortable bed, reliable air conditioning, and friendly staff. Sometimes that's all you need for a great stay.
