The staff was very welcome and helpful meeting every need. Our bags didn’t arrive for several days and the hotel had all the essentials to get us through. We also took advantage of laundry services which were very helpful. The hotel was clean and quiet. We enjoyed our stay very much!

The location and ambiance can't be beat. Breakfast is outstanding. A wedding in the courtyard was quite noisy - but that happens.

The location is the best after walking around district 1 loaded with bags BAM! there's the hotel. Sitting out front having a coffee or a beer and people watching its amazing and you feel lucky. The hotel is owned by the goverment the employees are government employees who did the minimum. Couldn't get the cable tv to work they didn't care. They were having a banquet wedding in the court yard and blasted I mean blasted music until 2 AM but that was kinda charming the fact that they didn't care or were clueless to the effects on the guests. The buffet at breakfast is both a joke and gross. A major western company needs to come in close it renovate it keep its historical significance but raise the bar. Can't just live on nostalgia.

The staff is efficient and really nice. The genuine vintage charm of the building and suite. Of course it does not have the same comfort of modernized hotel but the overall experience is totally worth it The ambiance music in the corridor being too loud in the early morning

Great location in center of city. Staff was fine and if asked were helpful. Extremely old and out of date facilities to the point where being in the room was uncomfortable at times. Could hear rooms above making noise. furniture and wallpaper and decore was old.

Breakfast was great. Large selection of food from different cultures. Got a great room. Used sauna and steam room multiple times. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was on third floor with balcony but had a tree blocking most of opera house view. Jacuzzi was lukewarm, told we needed to give them 3 hour notice to heat it up. Wanted to use laundry service but was very expensive. Pay by the shirt instead of kg. Walls kind of thin.

Prime locations and helpful staff The price. The hotel is really old and we felt like we are back in 1800 centuries.
