Rooftop pool was nice, clean and welcomed after a hot day. The staff were good, and helpful. It was very dated, in its day it was probably a higher end hotel. I regretted booking this hotel, at a stretch I would rate it three stars

Not much. Bed was comfortable. Overall the room felt more like a motel vibe than a hotel. Bathroom is outdated and had mold around shower perimeter. Bath towels thin. Interior room with no widows which I didn’t think was a big deal but with the overall dinginess of the room, it did matter. We checked out after one night and forwent the other two remaining nights we prepaid for.

Breakfast was very good, you can have breakfast inside or outside. Staff excellent, very professional 10/10. Hotel very clean and good location, approx 20 minutes walk to Walking Street district where you can find plenty of western or Asian food. Excellent roof pool not too many sun loungers but there was never too many people up by the pool, Asian people do not like the sun so most of the time we had the pool to ourselves. Yes we would definitely stay here again. I wouldn't say there was anything we didn't like but the gym could be just a little bigger

Upon arrival, I liked how they were able to charge my card- I didn't have to carry extra cash. The building itself had an elevator for heavy luggage, large spacious room, and a balcony with large windows. I liked how they had a large lobby, so there was room for other patrons. In terms of services that I used- they had a proper guy who would help with my luggages. I LOVED their breakfast options- it was different every day, I spent 1hr trying all the various options each day. I appreciate how they have a treadmill at the gym- it was nice to take a walk after breakfast without having to be in the streets. They provided towels, slippers, some toiletries, and two free water bottles daily. They had wifi and ac. I didn't like how they were bad at communicating in Booking. They specifically confirmed that there was pick up service from the airport, but I still had to find my own ride- good thing though because Grab was actually cheaper. But they never addressed it even after arrival. They also confirmed that my room would be ready by the time I arrived and to have the top floor room. But I didn't get my room until 2hrs after arrival and they gave me a middle floor room. My room was dirty- walls, trims, and corners were filled with dust and grime. Nail clippings were found on the bathroom counter- they rushed the cleaning. My room was in a corner near the elevator, so it was hard to sleep with high people traffic and car traffic that the window was facing. Food for room service was really bad, they gave me leftover veggies that were molding. And I didn't like how there was no fee sign for the snacks/drinks that were provided- had to call and ask.

Reservation Number: 5534611025 Dear Booking.com Customer Service, My name is William Tran, and I am writing to file a formal complaint and request a refund regarding my reservation at Lotus Hotel from June 26 to July 3, 2024. Upon arrival at the hotel on June 26, I had to wait approximately two hours to check in. When I finally received the room, it was not suitable for my family — which includes my wife, our 11-year-old daughter, and me. The room was very dirty, had a strong bad odor, and the air conditioning was not working properly. I immediately informed the hotel staff and requested to change rooms, but they refused to accommodate us. Due to these unacceptable conditions, we did not stay at the hotel at all. Instead, we booked a new hotel — the Orchid Hotel in District 1, where we stayed for the rest of our trip. I contacted the hotel to request a refund, but they refused, even though they failed to provide acceptable accommodations. Attached are: • The invoice from Lotus Hotel • The invoice from Orchid Hotel (as proof of alternative accommodation) I respectfully request that Booking.com assist me in obtaining a full refund, as we did not use the room and the hotel did not meet minimum standards of cleanliness and service. big bathroom, big wkndows. musty smell from the room, bathroom smelled bad, almost like sewer. room was uncomfortably hot when the AC hasn't been turned on for a while. (you notice this when you first walk into the room)

Facilities needed updating. Noisy, could hear other rooms very well. Door was not secure feeling. Some downstairs common areas were used for storage.

We stay 3 days and there was no hot water at all . When you have international guests it’s better to have also some international breakfast. As per booking had free transportation from airport but they denied nd they say is chargeable.
