Ruby Star Hotel Nam Quoc Cang

It was great value for money at a convenient location in Pham Ngu Lao. Great service by the staff, who lent me an umbrella for the rains. Reception was friendly and smiling always. Nothing I didn’t like.

The staff are very friendly. There is an elevator and toiletries are provided.

The hotel was good, but the breakfast was ordinary and the staff did not speak English at all, only Google Translate. English problem Hanoi

It’s really clean, my room was spacious, comfortable, everything you need is there, the girls in the reception been just lovely, they even let me check in before 2pm as had vacant room, everything is like in the pictures. No soundproof at all! Maybe I was just unlucky and other rooms are different, but got a room on the first floor with a window facing the night club. Stayed a night from Saturday to Sunday, the noise was if there was no wall or window separating me from all that action a all - club is very popular, loud music, crowd whole night, the place is closing around 6 or 7am, so spent a sleepless night. I would say this was the only minus, but a big one

Nothing really. eally. I have never been to a motel where you can not make coffee in the morning. The window looked straight at an external central staircase, it was like being locked in a closet, very disappointing, there was 1 night where young guisted partied till 7 morning,

We only stayed for one night but it was great. Great location only 15 minutes walk to the main part with was great. No noise from the road which was great. Definitely would stay again. Bed a little hard

The staff was realy nice - unfortunately in my room I met the biggest cockroach I have ever seen after about 20 minutes. I was moved to a new room (no window) and on my way I saw another smaller one (the receptionist tried to hide it by stepping on it). That does it for me - and hence no positive review besides location which was ok. The cockroaches - see above comment

Some rooms are noisy. The restroom is quite tight.

The hotel is ok, the staff is very nice. But you can hear everything from outside and inside the hotel. They need new beds and pillows, and when you take a shower even with the door closed, the water goes into the room.

good location no bedside table, or charging point/lightswitch next to bed. aircon leaked internally onto plastic sofa making a lot of noise
