Super affordable. Lyna and Linh and staff were so friendly and helpful. They helped arrange all sightseeing and shopping that I wanted to do. Some of the white linens and sheets had stains/discolored

Lyna was the best host I've ever had! It was my birthday during my stay and she made sure the day was really special. The family dinners are great and Lyna is always there to help you with everything and make sure you visit the best tailors in Hoi An. I would recommend this place to everyone!

The hostel was beyond incredible. This was home, this was family. From the moment you arrive, Lyna makes you feel so much warmth and comfort, giving all the best tips and discounts for tours. The rooms are super nice, like converted hotel rooms with lovely bamboo bunks. The beds are changed everyday with fresh towels and free unlimited water refills at the hostel. Most nights some sort of family dinner and event will be arranged so you can meet lots of other travellers, but also its very nice to be able to do your own thing in the day and then socialise in the breakfast and evening times. I truly did not want to leave, this was one of my best stays in the whole 4.5 months of travelling. Saclo Villa is family forever! Thank you so much Lyna Matt Nothing, beyond exceptional

Room was spotless with daily cleaning and bed was really comfy (western style -- not hard). Location is far enough away from the busy area, but it's still convenient enough to walk or bike to old town. It's also right next to the rice fields so very convenient for a scenic bike ride around the paddies. There's also bars and restaurants close by so you don't need to go all the way to the old quarter if you don't feel like it. The owner Lyna, her husband and her staff are all really nice and helpful. Especially Lyna, she'll help you with booking buses and tours and give great restaurant recommendations. The hostel vibe is very social/like a family, without being a party hostel, so it's a great place to chill and recuperate for a few days. If you have a bit of time and are looking for a cooking class that goes a little bit beyond the usual, where you actually get to learn some different techniques and taste dishes that you might not know to order at a restaurant, ask Lyna ;)

Exceptional

Loved the family feel to this hostel, with options to go out for family dinner. You were greated by name and made to feel part of the family, even for a short stay. Lyna was working incredibly hard to make everyone feel happy and comfortable. Good location, a little out of the hustle and bustle of old town, but near the rice fields.

Lyna and her family are great hosts. We really liked all of her recommendations in Hoi An. The food tour is definitely a highlight. We would love to come back. Thank you for everything -

My favourite hostel in Vietnam yet. Lyna welcomed me at 4am and let me in. She was like family the entire stay, so much so that I ended up staying an extra night than planned! Family dinners were great, breakfast was delicious, and the other workers were so sweet. Such a great atmosphere to meet others. Lyna was on hand at any moment to help organise a tour, laundry, post, anything! 10/10, would definitely recommend! The only hostel I wanted to stay longer.

Breakfast was okay. You could book everything at the Hostel (tours, busses etc.). Nice bathroom. No hot shower. Gate is locked after 7pm, you have to wake the owner up to get in. Electricity didn’t work in our room for three days. Quite an unrelaxed place.

Lyna took good care of all of us. She helped me a lot with what to do and where to go during my stay. Nothing in particular

Great experience and exceptional vibes! After having stayed at Lynas previous homestay back in 2016 I was so happy to see her again and what really amazed me was that she still remembered me which says a lot about how much she cares about every guest. She and her husband put so much effort in everything they do which gives you such a cosy feeling that you would love to stay at Saclo much longer than originally planned. Sac Lo was a wonderful place to stay, we felt at home as soon as we arrived, Lyna was a brilliant host and certainly knew her job, anything you wanted, she could sort out for you, lovely to have her husband and son around all the time, and of course the dogs. I would def recommend to everyone to stay here. Nothing

The host was amazing she was so kind, warm and so welcoming. She suggested amazing places to eat and things to do. The accommodation itself was amazing with great facilities including a pool and a lovely area to socialise. The host is so attentive and the most caring going out of her way to provide family meals and the best service. Nothing!

I had single room: Great room, good bath, free good breakfast (I loved the banana pancake) and every 2 days family dinner helped to socialize, great cooking tour with basket boats, helped out with tailor problems, staff is very friendly, great owner, fast help by Whattsapp, good cleaning service, great owner family, cute dogs, free biked, free water for single room, fast help Lantern Tour was horrible, ac broke and water on floor when entering the room, I miss some card games and similar stuff for the social area, other social events would be nice, somewhat we didn't use the pool ?, sometimes it felt to much stressed and pressuring to earn money, padlock renting instead of deposit

i had a warm, friendly and personalized stay at Lyna and family’s place this past week. the house is very welcoming, safe and clean. My highlights were the great rooms which were cleaned regularly, and had the best shower I have used in a hostel. Lyna the host, takes her time in explaining diverse points about Hoi An, and underlines her availability and help for whichever purpose. She is hard working, thoughtful and thorough with every task. Thank you so much! A small improvement could be the sturdiness of the bamboo bunk beds, as they make noise when people shuffle around at night :) Also, perhaps the bike rental policy could be redesigned; they are free which is awesome! But the locks aren’t. Perhaps paying a 24h fee, instead of paying every single time you use a bike a day, could be more efficient!
