Motel 6 Hollywood

You get what you pay for.... AC was super, super loud every time it kicked in, waking me up every 30 minutes or so. Additionally the wake up call kept calling back every 5 mins, had to finally call the front desk after the fourth time to tell them to turn off the damn thing. Doors to the guest rooms apparently do not close quietly, so every time someone came/went - their door (mine included) would slam shut and you could feel the hall shaking. And then some houseless guy kept going into the garage, kinda creepy... the garage security guard was asleep at his station when I went to my car for something that night. Unlikely to stay there again - I'll pay a little extra for some peace and quiet and not having to worry about bums doing God knows what in the garage.

Room was clean but rest of the place was a bit dirty, elevator would never go to the right floor, loud at night with people arguing and slamming doors till 2am I was on the 3rd floor

The self check in was weird. Would have preferred a person and the ability to pay cash.

The hotel is in a great location near Hollywood Boulevard. It is reasonably clean and well-maintained. It would be helpful to have shampoo and body wash, as these are not provided in the room; you also have to ask for a hairdryer if you want one. I requested these items at reception, and they gave me a few sachets of shampoo. Housekeeping is not provided daily unless specifically requested. During breakfast hours, only hot coffee is available... Here, too, having some milk or a few cookies would be a significant plus for guests. Check-in is supposed to be handled by an automated kiosk, but the process is actually quite cumbersome. We had to ask for help, so instead of speeding things up, it ended up taking a bit of time. All in all, a positive experience.

The only good thing might be that it is near hollywood walk of fame. Very disappointing stay. The room had no wardrobe and the internet connection was extremely poor. There was no housekeeping at all during our four-day stay and basic toiletries such as shampoo and body wash were not provided. Despite the motel being advertised as non-smoking, our room and the surrounding rooms smelled strongly of cigarette smoke because people were smoking inside. The worst part, however, was the extreme noise at night, which made it almost impossible to sleep. To make matters worse, when we checked out, we were told there was a $6 charge for each carry-on bag if we wanted the motel to store our luggage. The room was clean but there were cockroaches in the bathroom. On balance, the lack of basic amenities, cigarette smoke, poor internet, no housekeeping, and excessive nighttime noise made this a very unpleasant stay. Do not waste your money.

The hotel stay was good. It was clean. Bathroom fully stocked. Beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious. The not so good, was the elevator kept opening on random floors and buttons were there for decoration because the elevator had a mind of its own. In the lobby they have vending machines and a microwave and ice machine. Vending machines down in lobby only takes exact cash, no change and only dollar bills . Checked in through a kiosk while someone random FaceTimed me while I checked in. No one in lobby, but later saw someone at the desk so I might have just gotten there when no one was there. Parking garage under the hotel is $30 a night and car clearance is 6.5 ft so do not take a tall car. Elevator accesible from garage to floors. Was quiet and felt safe. Will stay again if I visit the area.

We were close to the main Hollywood attractions and I would not hesitate stay there again if we attended any other events in the area.

9 minute drive to universal studios. Private parking. The rooms are clean (on day 1.) They won't clean them after that unless you ask but they don't tell you that at check in. Rooms don't have microwaves. Parking is an extra 30 bucks a night, you don't find out until you arrive and it's a hassle to figure it out. The area was extremely loud from people partying all night. They didn't clean our room while we were out all day because they said you have to request it, I've never heard of that..

Location was convenient and close to many attractions. Hard beds, thin walls so hear everything, had a dirty restroom, Parking was a hassle and paying $30 per night is ridiculous when more high end hotels include it. Could stay at a higher end hotel for the same price I paid for 2 nights with parking. The first and last time I stay at a motel 6.

Beds were comfortable! You have to pay for parking per day is 30.00 I got the hotel for two days so 60 dollars. The elevator don’t work! The staff that was there at the time was rude and not helpful.

Check in a une machine qui ne fonctionne jamais donc arrivée pénible. Oui propre et bien situé mais clientèle très de base gamme, bruits et chicanes la nuit, quartier défavorisé, aucune sécurité n’importe qui entre dans le motel. À l’extérieur du motel devant la porte clients et passants consomment drogue et boissons. Murs non insonorisés, les nuits sont tes pénibles. Bref le point fort c’est son prix.

there is no available breakfast. The parking is so small and the elevator is not working. The parking fee is not included on the package so disappointed.
