Whisky Hotel

Excellent stay! Check in staff was very friendly and welcoming. Free breakfast was a nice added bonus! It could use a few more options, but what was offered was still good.

Love love loved out stay! You never know what you get in LA but this was a great find at a great value. Staff was great, breakfast was decent, and location was perfect! Would definitely stay again! ☺️

TV didn't work, it kept scrambling the picture and sound...bad wifi and cramped room, there's more but I'm not going to waste my time or yours. I don't recommend this hotel.

The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is the surrounding area. I did not always feel safe walking in the area around the hotel, and avoided a few shady characters on the street when I did. I also walked past a guy (actually looked like a hotel guest) smoking a great big stinky doobie right next to the valet stand. I don't know what is legal in California, but I just hate the smell of pot and it isn't the first thing you want to smell when you walk in the front door. Just aware.

Check-in was very fast and friendly. The staff was amazing. Every-time we walked through the lobby we were greeted. The property and decorations was cool. We should have visited every floor to see how it was painted and decorated. Breakfast on the 7th floor a great way to start the day. Loved it and would book again if we ever travel through LA. Cheers

Love the Argentine vibe and authentic food. Rooms are well appointed and staff was very helpful and attentive. Will be back.

Nice place to stay with pleasant rooftop bar.

Loved the location. Went to a show a Pantages, and it was a super short 5-8 minute walk. Lots of great food options near by too AC was broken, and the room was very warm. It was able to blow air at some point in the evening, but it wasn’t completely fixed during our stay

What I liked was the beautiful and luxurious entrance, and I also found the bathroom to be nice and well maintained. What I didn't like was the room itself, which was disappointing and did not meet my expectations. There was also nothing to do in the hotel, and considering the high price, I expected a much better experience. Overall, I do not think the hotel offered good value for money.

If you want to see the sites in Hollywood, the location is walking distance to many of the tourist stops....and lots of homeless and filth along the way. Paid for valet parking....the valet does not come on shift until 10am.

First time staying at the Whiskey. Was very pleased. The staff was super friendly. The room was great! I love the area as I am not in any way new to Hollywood. I could walk to some of my favorite bars and restaurants. We have been looking for a new hotel we could call our spot, and we found it.

Staff, location, and shower were all excellent. The hallways smelled wonderful. The lounge on the 7th floor offered wonderful views of downtown LA, the Observatory, the Hollywood sign, and more. A special shout-out to front desk attendant Lorena, who was super-friendly and helpful. Electrical outlets in the room need to be checked. We could only charge our phones in the outlet in the bathroom. Also, the breakfast was a nice added benefit but the menu was the same every day. Recommend altering the menu a bit.
