We really liked the view from the room. The room was clean and comfortable, overall really nice. Great location, close to central (but its quite hilly). We recommend walking downwards and then taking Uber back. Even though we stayed there during Labour Day holidays, the price was good value. Hotel is close to the Peak tram station. Staff at the reception seemed a bit cold. You have to pay 8 HKD for a water bottle in the room.

The views from the room were great! A couple of days before our stay, the hotel charged us for the first night (out of 2 nights). We expected to pay the remaining amount at the reception, but instead we were charged the full amount for 2 nights. The receptionist explained that the first charge will be refunded (which we managed via the bank) but it was really unclear why they do it this way and it made no sense to us to have our money stuck somewhere for no apparent reason. There is no complimentary water in the room, they charge for the bottles. The shower drained very poorly, you were ankle-deep in water in a couple of minutes. We also spotted some hairs on the bedsheets.

Nice residential area. I've stayed in this hotel 3 times before. The best feature are 1) the rooms 2) away from the hustle bustle. I wish I knew what buses go to MacDonnell Road and where the stops are. Also I dont know why guest are not allowed after 11pm at the hotel

It ticked all of our boxes: the room was clean and a reasonable size, the staff were helpful and cheerful, the location was convenient for Central Business District . No criticisms

Walkable to the supermarket, convenient bus ride to Admiralty and Central, and MTR station. The room is bright and good size. The hotel decor is a little dated, but it's well maintained and very clean. Housekeeping is responsible and detailed throughout my 11, day's stay.

It is neat, the towels looked new and were replaced everyday. Location is not the best, although taxi's are always few minutes available. They do not offer breakfast. The nearby hotel Cafe 08 does have a restaurant so that came in handy. Bottled water are charged at 12hkd each, it is the first ever hotel that I went to that did this. Found it a bit weird, anyways a supermarket nearby solved the water issue. The hair dryer was hidden in one of the drawers in the room, not inside the bathroom. Only found out that it was there when I was about to check out. It was not bad but it was not the best stay I had.

The staff was friendly despite the language barrier. The cafeteria is really good, there was a lovely older lady that was very friendly too. The food was really good and it's very affordable. We ordered the laundry service and they left several messages, as well as slid a note under the door to let us know we have to pay - it was a bit strange since we still had several days left with the room, I don't understand why the hurry or the insistence. They also require a deposit on check-in but we didn't have to do it in the end. The view of our room was just towards some buildings, but the room was big so it wasn't a big deal overall.
