The nicest thing is the location - its a walk to the Hong Kong library, and its at the center of the city. It can't get better than that for a traveler that needs to be resourceful.

Location is very good There’s no public space, and the facility is a little aged.

Great location! Friendly staff. As it is a mixed dormitory space, there could be noise at times. Since the building seems old (not the room itself), the elevators seem to be functioning weirdly.

The location is extremely good. Very close to the subway station. Very much downtown. Easy to find supermarket, convenient store, fancy restaurants nearby. The staff is very open and nice. Good value for the price. Will definitely come back next time.

Amy was a wonderfully welcoming host who gave us a very thorough introduction to the homestay. The location is extremely convenient, just a 1-minute walk from the MTR station.

Staff was very nice. Room was easy to access and location was very convenient to public transportation. Comfortable beds and nice amenities, including free laundry (wash). Individual wet bathrooms, lights and outlets available in the bed and kitchen area with cooking top and refrigerator for food. The only recommendations I would make (as someone who has stayed in hostels across the world for more than 20 years) is to post several signs indicating "Quiet Hours" between like 10pm and 8am. This is generally when the lights go out and people keep their voices down and is fairly standard across the industry. There were times where people were talking loudly in the common area and kept the lights on quite late. The common area has no physical barrier from the beds so it can be a bit loud even with my ear plugs in. Without signage, less "traveled" people may not be aware and will not follow these common courtesy rules for those trying to sleep.

I like the location near the MTR station and the very kind receptionist, Dan. He’s very friendly and helpful. Thank you very much. Nothing

Rude hospitality

Central location & super friendly & helpful staff ?? It was a very small hostel , different dorms in different buildings ( I think)... Pics online are a little deceiving unfortunately... There is literally no space to put your bag anywhere... The beds are like a small box with a thin mattress... I was eaten alive by bugs/mites, legs are covered in bite marks... Only a few chairs with a long table if you have a laptop/tablet...the bathroom is also very small, toilet & shower all in one.... But I think Hong Kong has the same problem everywhere unfortunately ?

The hostel is conveniently located near an MTR station so it made traveling around very easy. Facilities were clean and there was enough space for my needs in between exploring the surrounding areas. Amy, one of the hosts, was also very welcoming and responsive to any feedback provided.

The location was excellent — just one block away from the MTR station, with plenty of stores nearby, including a large shopping center, supermarket, and pharmacy, which made everything very convenient. I like the kitchenette with bowls, utensils and a microwave to use. The AC in the room worked well, and Amy was attentive and quick to respond when I contacted her about switching rooms, which I appreciated very much. The dorms are spread across different buildings, and the buildings themselves are quite old. Both the dorm and bathroom were small. I was initially assigned to a 4-bed female dorm where the mattress was extremely thin and very hard, which led to a couple of uncomfortable nights before I requested a room change. Afterward, I was moved to a mixed dorm with 10+ beds, but it felt more spacious and the bed/mattress was much more comfortable for the remainder of my stay.

The location makes it really convenient to move around. It’s quite affordable to stay in for a few nights too. The room and bed is clean as well. The staff is nice too, even lend me a lock to use while I was staying there. The bathroom is a bit different- the shower area and the WC are so close. During shower you are definitely gonna wet the whole WC and the floor. The lifts going up-to the rooms don’t show the levels even when pressing the numbers. It is kind of weird.
