Renaissance Harbour View Hotel Hong Kong

An absolutely world-class stay that truly set the benchmark for luxury and hospitality. From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the sophisticated ambiance of the property, which perfectly complements the stunning harbour views. I was especially delighted to be upgraded to a King Dynasty Suite, which elevated the comfort of my stay to another level. The service throughout the hotel was genuinely impeccable; every staff member I interacted with was not only professional and efficient but also incredibly welcoming, making me feel thoroughly looked after. Furthermore, the dining options were exceptional, offering a level of quality and variety that made every meal a highlight of the trip. It is rare to find a property where every single element—service, food, environment, and comfort—is executed to such a flawless standard. This was a perfect 10/10 experience in every regard, and I look forward to my next stay. Nothing.

Great location and awesome view overlooking the bay area, close to star ferry crossing and so easy access to many sights and sounds...room was comfortable good bed, didn't use the breakfast facilities so cant comment on that! The AC was either too hot to cold but it was a humid time of year so have to expect that, also the noise from the room above scraping chairs / furniture during the day and night was annoying!

Position is exceptional for the trade center, in case you are in town for business. Great service, always kind and willing to help. Great breakfast, both in terms of variety and quality. The maintenance level is not good enough, especially for the price level. Bed is very hard, not at the standard for the level of the hotel. Cleaning too: good enough in the bathroom, but the room has stained carpet and curtains and sofa.

Rooms are small but inc all necessary for a short business stay. Net could be better. Location is excellent. WiFi failed a few times. Breakfast is overpriced.

Comfy Room, well equipped with Fridge, and plenty of goodies, with good Coffee in the Room thanks to the Cup Machine and good Supply. Great Location as it is quite close to a subway Train Station and the Conference Center. Nice Views of the Harbour from the Room (if you choose an Harbor View one). Less pricey Options for Restaurant inside the Hotel and for Breakfast. In the Hotel, a small Dinner would cost easily over USD100 for 2 Persons and Breakfast up to USD50-60, granted that the Ambience (live Singer) and the night Views are good.

koffie corner was closed, no atm in hotel oke but not value for the money we reseved table and was given away so we did eat on the bar okay for us but noit for high priced 5 star hotel

Views of Victoria Harbour

I liked the location to harbor. I was able to see fireworks show. I also enjoyed the breakfast. It charged too much for such a tiny room that barely came with decent amenities. I would have rather stayed somewhere cheaper if I knew I would be so unhappy with the room.

This time everything went very well! We liked it, all!!

Good location for convention Pleasant place to stay

The room has a great view. We booked the room to watch the fireworks, and though no fault of the hotel, the fireworks was cancelled this year. We gave our numbers to the hotel that we would have 5 person's staying in 2 rooms and we assumed that an extra bed would be included for us in one of the rooms at an extra cost however the hotel front desk advised us the hotel was very busy so they had no extra bed for us for the first 2 nights. My son had to sleep on the floor.

Location very close to subway Rooms a bit worn out, two lifts out of service demanding more than 10 minutes in the mornings. And worse the breakfast quite expensive and with a huge queue. Much better to spend this unbelievable expensive breakfast budget outside. There are several good restaurants with much better options.

This stay was very disappointing and did not reflect the pricing or 5-star positioning of the hotel. The property is clearly in need of a major renovation. Visible wear and tear was evident throughout the room and common areas, damaged furniture, scratched and peeling surfaces, and poorly maintained fixtures. This is not acceptable for a hotel charging premium rates. Rooms are small, dated, and feel tired rather than upscale. Despite this, prices were extremely high compared to other high-end hotels in Hong Kong that offer far better condition, space, and value. Rates were clearly inflated due to the New Year period and the hotel’s harbor location, with an implied premium for fireworks views. However, there were no fireworks in Hong Kong this year, which made the pricing particularly unjustified and disappointing. Room service was another major issue: food quality was poor, delivery took an excessive amount of time, and prices were unreasonably high for what was provided. Overall, this stay did not justify the cost. I would not recommend this hotel at its current condition and pricing, especially when significantly better alternatives exist in Hong Kong.
