The list of issues is unfortunately quite long: * The hotel is showing its age, and this is reflected in the room equipment. There are buttons everywhere, for the blinds, various lights, and other functions. It is often unclear which button controls what, and the labels are difficult to read. * Breakfast can be taken either in the lobby restaurant or in the Grand Club on the 31st floor. The lobby breakfast area is quite small. Although the selection is excellent, I had to queue for quite some time. Upon admission, I was seated shoulder-to-shoulder with other guests at the bar, which was not particularly comfortable. * The breakfast offering in the Grand Club is more limited. Initially, I did not realize that some of the fruit was stored in the refrigerators. Speaking of the refrigerators, they are positioned behind a service table. Although guests are apparently expected to help themselves to drinks, their location made me assume that staff assistance was required. When I asked for an orange juice, nobody mentioned that I could simply access the refrigerators myself. Instead, the cook looked at me as though I had arrived from another planet (perhaps I have). * Overall, the service did not meet the standard I would expect at this price point. Staff often seemed to have difficulty understanding my English (my pronunciation may not be perfect). Given the room rates charged by the hotel, I expected a significantly higher level of service. * Last, I like to travel by public transportation. Here, one has to walk to the Wan Chai MTR station. The way there requires a particularly ugly staircase to get out into some big drive-through. So the hotel is not located in a particularly pedestrian friendly manner.

OVERALL STAY WAS EXCELLENT. AND GIVING A BIRTHDAY CAKE FOR MY WIFE WAS SUCH A NICE TOUCH!

Room and the club restaurant experience was very good. Staff and food and beverages outstanding The check in experience was poor. I have not factored this into the ratings above as that would not be a fair reflection of all the staff. I gave feedback during our stay and Susanna responded and came to apologise. She said the check-in staff was spoken to about this. There was 3 check-in staff and 2 checking in at that time. You can find my email feedback to read if you wish.

What i liked was the amazing speed and service provided by the very hardworking staff. When i call for items for the room, it comes within minutes. When i asked for room service and the phone is engaged - they send a staff personally to take my breakfast room service order. I'm very very impressed with the staff service. Superb and highly responsive ! Traffic during ARTBASEL days.

The hotel is great, the view is stunning. Stuff at club lounge was amazingly helpful. I loved every little piece of this hotel. We booked a panoramic view room, it was exactly what I was hoping for - a beautiful view at the bay at night. Breakfast had gluten-free options.

The breakfast is good. Lack of maintenance. The room is smelly. I can’t believe I pay this much but using the wall mounted body soap and shampoo.
