Need improvements on property

We asked for a refund so we could check out and get a. Better hotel but they refused, only giving us less than half of the remaining nights, which we had only been there a few hours so it should’ve basically been a full refund, so we had to stick it out. No food amenities, only a little snack card, which when I tried to redeem, it wasn’t ready. Will not return nor would I recommend.

Staff was very courteous. Front desk woman who checked me in remembered me from the last time I stayed there, about a year and a half ago.

The rooms were decent but we got stuck in the elevator while it was malfunctioning and that was so so scary!!!! Staff was absolutely amazing, great views…

Location was the only good thing about Ohia studio I wouldn’t stand barefoot on the filthy carpet Bedside lamps didn’t Jackhammer started 8 am for constructions for most of the day Dirty appearance throughout the room

my stay at the Ohia is always great. The location and the staff are always amazing. The only complaint that I had was that they are under construction. They are remodeling and I had no idea until I entered the lobby. Also, I was on the 16th floor, the early morning drilling was very loud. Other than that, The Ohia is my favorite place to stay

The broken toilets on the balconies should have been our first clue. I understand they are renovating but having to go by the trash and up the service elevator

This property is in a prime location for Waikīkī. The property did notify us that they were under renovation, so if your on vacation wanting relaxation and a nap, it’s not happening. Drilling and pounding on Saturday and Sunday, to me is not acceptable. One elevator servicing guest, construction staff and equipment = long wait times. Outrageous resort fees and only servicing rooms every 3 days doesn’t add up. And the most disgusting thing are all the cockroaches crawling on the wall, in the cupboard, under the sink and all over the pantry and bathroom. Turn the light on at night and you’ll find a dozen roaches scrambling. Very disappointed and wasted a lot of money for a place that doesn’t deserve 1 star.

Convenient walking distance to every thing

Horrible experience. Do not recommend. Would have booked somewhere else if they let us know early that the room we booked in advance was not available, but we were tired from a late night flight for a one night transit.

Nothing Roaches and noise!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Please look at this before you go to this horrible “hotel”. I’ve never had a worse experience in my life. The building should actually be condemned, that’s how bad it is, and the staff were so unhelpful. We arrived there off the plane and planned to stay for two nights, immediately the lobby is gross and dirty carpets everywhere and ripped. Once we got to our room it was just honestly so disgusting. Stains all over the curtains, sheets, bed bugs, dead insects in corners. It feels like a horror movie motel but worse. We asked right away to change rooms as there was the weirdest smell and then it was the same in the other room. I asked for a refund right away and to leave, I was with my kid and my elderly father, and it just wasn’t safe to stay in a place like this. It’s a health hazard, I could go on and on and on about how unsafe it is. The prices they charge are crazy and they are so unhelpful. The receptionist would not refund my entire stay and only one night. I didn’t even stay there and had to pay so much money for another hotel last minute and Ubers. Absolutely disgusting customer service and it’s con tbh. She said I had to go through booking.com to get the rest of my refund and booking.com said I don’t because I paid at the property. So wtf?! I never leave reviews but this is the worst hotel experience ever, and we had to flee the hotel after a long flight. I felt like I needed to burn my luggage and any clothes touching anything in there. Bed bugs are disgusting and can latch to your stuff. This listing shouldn’t be on booking.com and the hotel needs to be shut down. The manager is obviously in on the con too. I trust hotels on this website to be accurate, and safe at the least. The elevators are also a hazard and they don’t work. I want my money back and it’s messed up no one is helping me. I ended up losing a lot more money because of this booking. BEWARE DO NOT STAY HERE
