food was excellent, rooms very clean, the pool was clean, excellent location

Pool was nice but it was closed for almost 2 days with no explanation. Breakfast was good - lots of selection. Staff used a translation app which worked well for non-Spanish speaking guests. Deck sliding door locks automatically - my husband was locked outside in direct sunlight for 90 minutes until I got back to the room to let him in. This could have been very dangerous. Pool was closed for almost 2 days. Staff were on walkie-talkies, blasting thru the hallways, even as early as 4:45am on a Saturday. Bathroom window (the only vent) opens to the hallway so you can hear the elevator announce each stop, and hear noise in the hallway. Ask for a bathroom window that opens outside. Roof was painted red during our stay and the red splattered on our deck. Luckily we didn't have stuff out there. Pickleball courts are behind the hotel - we didn't hear as we had the air conditioning running, but I know other guests had complaints.

We loved the pool, I feel like this is not talked about in reviews enough, it is lovely! Great location if you are a birder, and playa chachue is fantastic. Staff were great. Whole hotel was spotless, and we loved the location as well The A/C had a pretty nasty odour and was very loud, but at least we had it. Sheets were rough

Nothing to not like.

The Location, room size , the good sized clean pool and the lady who cooks the eggs is amazing, As well as the one older lady at the front desk in the Mornings who is so helpful. The confusion on my request for a fridge in my room which was not there and was approved through test on here. As well as the attitude of the one front desk lady who works afternoons. Also found the Breakfast buffet to be was smaller this year.

Location is excellent for walking and exploring. Easy to walk to Santa Cruz or La Crucecita. A block from the beach at Chahue. So many good restaurants in the immediate area as well as shopping. The pool has a nice mix of sun and shade all day.

PROS - If you need large beach towels you can pay deposit and get them there. No hassle exchange for clean towels. - Fridge in room to store refreshments. (No micro) - You can check out an iron at the front desk - Excellent location. You get picked up at the lobby for excursions, and you can catch a cab with ease. - We didn't use the pool, but it seemed appetizing and clean. We saw the pool boy cleaning it every morning. - Comfortable beds - You can control room temperature. We were comfortable our whole stay. - Mini safe in room - Elevator CONS - Obsession about towel counting. Only two shower towels and the other 3 were small (your face cloth is counted as one). Have to count every time you have housekeeping. I did not feel we had enough towels. - Breakfast is 8a-10am, not the hours stated on the app. Your choice of eggs, beans, and beverage. Limited menu. Overall impression: has everything you need with a slight hassle from the towels situation. Personally, I would try somewhere else if I came back to the area. I would rate it an 8.0.

Brief but enjoyable..

Breakfast excellent. Room location, size, and lack of amenities in room, such as blow dryer and iron.

We had a room with two very comfortable queen sized beds. The breakfast was plentiful each morning and great service. The pool was great for cooling off on returning to the hotel each day from our visits around Huatulco. The off-road parking was convenient Not all rooms have a fridge however we asked for one when we arrived and they promptly had maintenance bring us one to our room which was perfect for us.

The property was located about a 25min walk from La Crucecita Center and about a 15min walk from Santa Cruz by the beach. The rooms were big and airy and were cleaned daily. The breakfast buffet was really great, lots of choice whilst also keeping within the Mexican culture.

The girls at the reception were really nice and very helpful and also the people at the breakfast restaurant. The breakfast was really good. They couldn t find our reservation and we have waited for more than 30 minutes. We got a very loud room towards the big street. The hotel looks a bit old, but the rooms were very clean. The bathroom needs a renovation for sure.

The breakfast was beyond expectations, and the staff wonderful. They knew we liked tea and brought us hot water without being asked. Also, the rooms are spacious; and the hotel and grounds are kept very clean. We loved the pool, which was mostly unused by other guests while we were there. This hotel has great potential but their "politica" is senseless. Few if any amenities and some missing items are provided only grudgingly. Ex. the towels are doled out reluctantly (2 bath towels, 2 hand towels, 1 face cloth, 1 bath mat) but we were missing a hand towel. We asked about it frequently for the first 2days , then just gave up and shared both the face towel and the hand towel. Why do we have to share towels??? Also, no glass or cup provided, 3 hangers/person, and very limited drinking water. I would much rather not have fresh towels and sheets every day than have these things lackig. Also not enough shelf space and too few hangers meant you can't really unpack. Finally, the wifi was intermittent, one day off for most of the day. And, why did we have to wear a wrist band when they double check room number anyway at breakfast? Someone is making up some really craxy policies for this hotel.

Amazing Parking

The room had a good size. Despite being advertised, a WiFi network was not available in the room, but only in the hotel lobby. Nor was parking at the hotel guaranteed due to a limited number of places. I had a hydraulic problem in the bathroom of the hotel and the staff didn't help, despite being informed twice; I had to solve it myself. The hotel's structure is good, but there seems to be a management problem.
