I was looking for a pet freindly BED AND BREAKFAST but the pub you recomended is NOT a B&B, it does NOT serve breakfast. so I will never use you again, I intend to let as many people know of your inept service and recomend they don't use your service. Your incompetence

Beef stew with dumplings and a pint or two of ale was just the ticket after a long day. Very comfortable bed made for a restful night’s sleep.

The welcome at the bar was exceptionally friendly and helpful when I walked in, really made the whole experience. Loved the little story about Crommie the dog that was in the room. It was great the TV had Freeview Play, that gave me lots of choice on what to watch. Bed and bedding very comfortable. I assuming it's some kind of security/safety light in the room near the door. I found it a bit bright overnight for such a small room and wished I had brought my eye mask with me.

WiFi didn't work. Shower was very loud when turned on. Staff didn't check everything was ok nor knew I was staying there. I was told breakfast would be available but it wasn't. Coffee bar available instead of being told to have a coffee in my room. Fresh coffee is nicer! WiFi being non existent. Staff not friendly or welcoming.

Locals pub with rooms. Slept well in a quiet rear facing room with a mega comfy bed. If you’re adverse to mis-matched up-cycled furnishings this won’t be for you. Easy parking, 10 mins off the A14 outside Cambridge. Might benefit from a saver rate for mid-week solo traveller, room only.

Great value for money below £50 for 1 night stay so very suitable for community key workers, staff very polite and welcoming, clean and tidy room. Didn't get chance to try food but must be amazing if the smell was anything to go by very tempting unfortunately by time I arrived it was too late for roast. Nothing serious slight issue with kettle for room (cromwell) seemed to want to put more water on tray than in cup but this is nothing serious and could just be missing a tray that'd put cup closer to where water comes out there was plenty of sugar ect supplied so overall this wasn't a bad experience.
