we got a call on the same day we were travelling to hyderabad from GIS hotel, saying that our booking is confirmed, but because of some technical issue they would shift us to another nearby guest house. in the beginning we were okay with it and thought if we get the same service we will be fine with that. but when we reached there, we realised, they were probably running the guest house in the name of Gis hotel, and taking bookings online. the rooms and bed linens were dirty, there was a small rat in our room, bathroom was pretty dirty, taps were not functioning properly. we would have managed all of these and overlooked it but the main problem was the service. No body used to be available at the reception counter till 8a.m., we had early mornings and wanted to requested for tea in our room, but nobody was available. the website mentioned that we could order food in the hotel itself, but that facility was not available, so on the first night we ordered food from outside.
