Ilioperato Hotel

It was absolutely unforgettable. The location is stunning, with breathtaking views of the caldera and some of the most beautiful sunset views I’ve ever seen. Everything about the place feels peaceful and special, making it a perfect spot to relax and take in the scenery. The staff were exceptional—always warm, friendly, and very helpful, which made the experience even better.

The highlight of our entire Europe trip was staying at Ilioperato Hotel. The views were honestly incredible and something I'll never forget. The staff were amazing and always went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more special. Breakfast each morning was delicious (loved their bakery options!) and the rooms were so spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was also great, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby making it easy to get around and enjoy the area. One thing we really appreciated was how private the room and outdoor spa area felt. Santorini accommodation can sometimes feel quite open so it was nice to have our own little space to relax and unwind. We absolutely loved our stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. 10/10, we're already talking about when we can come back!! I loved everything!

The location in Imerovigli was excellent, with beautiful caldera views and easy access to the walking path, Skaros Rock, and nearby restaurants. The outdoor jacuzzi was a highlight, and overall the setting felt peaceful while still being very convenient. We were disappointed by the lack of privacy during our stay, particularly with staff entering or approaching the room without clear notice despite the Do Not Disturb sign being displayed. A few room details, such as the difficult door lock and missing dustbin, also made the overall experience feel less polished than expected.

Everything was great! Beautiful views to la Caldera from every spot of the hotel. The service was A+. They take care of taking your luggage to your room, they also bring your breakfast at the time you select and whatever you select since it’s à la carte. Additionally, they kindly coordinate transport, transfers and tours and activities around the island. It could not be better! Everything was excellent!

The location along the caldera offers some of the finest views in Santorini. There are several restaurants to frequent within a 10 minute walk of the property. The staff were warm, welcoming and very accommodative. The property is immaculately kept. The bed in our unit was a little soft for our liking but we prefer a firm mattress.

Everything from the location, host, service was excellent. The staff was always there to offer their suggestions for sightseeing and generally were very hospitable. We were there this spring and simply loved it. Would go back again.

JoAnn and her team are very customer friendly. They worked professionally and did their best to help us and to exceed our expectations. The breakfast service and quality are excellent. The property is in a great location and the view for the room is beautiful Adding a small shelves in shower room to hold shampoo and shower gel would be helpful

Nothing. Everything was amazing.

The staff was very responsive, but the facility was just days away from completely shutting down for the season. For the most expensive stay we had in Greece, it felt like we were a last day after thought. The pool was open, but unattended or picked up, no other facilities available. If i hadn't reached out to ask prior to the stay asking if things would be open, i would have set other expectations. I wasn't aware that santorini shuts down by mid october. That said, the facility looked nice if it was open and the staff was as responsive as they could be...

Amazing views and friendly accommodating reception

We might have better enjoyed a villa with a more direct view of the caldera from the room, but otherwise the property was great. We would return gladly. One negative was the fsct that you effectively could not cook in the apartment as there were no surfsce units. When our children were small we chose places with kitchenettes so we could prepare simple meals. That was not possible at the Ilioperato.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Joanne, the receptionist, was sweet and welcoming. Comfy bed, clean room, awesome view of the ocean and sunset from the room porch. Maybe the bathroom sink took a few minutes before it drains. And no soap/shampoo tray or stand in the shower stall. Steps to the outdoor jacuzzi was quite slippery.
