Motel 6 Indianapolis, IN - Airport

Staff was amazing, room was okay but not worth the money they charge. I paid 80 on Friday night (that was not to bad for a Friday night) but Saturday was around 100 plus tax. They only serve coffee in the morning no food like it shows. I didn’t get any sleep the 2 days I was there, because everyone on the floor was partying and so damn loud. WiFi was hit or miss.. mostly miss that I used my hot spot. The only reason it’s getting the rating I’m given is for the staff! Nothing else!

Room seemed clean, however in major need of maintenance, no outlet cover on an outlet, toilet seat/cover had broken hinge & fridge didn’t work. Main part of hotel needed lots of help, major stains on the carpets & stairway. Elevator made noises like we were lucky to make it to our floor.

Cheapest hotel in the area..1/3 of the price of the other ones. The staff was helpful getting me checked in and the room was very clean. Great little budget spot!

This Motel 6 was run down and mildly scary. The front glass door window was cracked on one side, and stuck on the other. The room smells faintly of smoke (better than my friend's room that smelled faintly of pee), and had small holes in the wall where something had been removed. It was serviceable, but not well maintained.

Bad

The place is awful. The air is filthy, it hits you like a baseball bat in the face when you enter the room (and it wasn’t much better in the corridor). Worst hotel I’ve ever been. The only positive was that we didn’t see bed b*gs.

We arrived late as we were travelling through and needed a place to stay. I believe I was given a room that was under construction. There was no number on the door, the bathroom did not have a door, the bedside table between the two beds had no lights just holes or lights were supposed to be and the mini fridge was very dirty. It may have been by mistake, but I did mention it to Front staff and was met with nothing. It was myself and my two children and we just needed to sleep, but I considered leaving.

Upon arriving there were tvs stacked on top of each other all over the lobby with extremely dirty and stained carpet. The stairwell was in just of bad of shape leading me to my room on the 3rd floor where we had zero hot water, working tv, or half the lights in the room. When I communicated the issues with the front desk clerk I was told to “speak with someone in the morning” when I was planning to check out anyway. Horrible stay.

Exceptional

That is got to check out. The hallways smelled of smoke. I told the desk and they said something about people smoking outside. No phone , no clock. Bathroom the size of a closet. Literally. Doors were loud. Every time someone closed their door it was a loud bang that sounded like someone slammed it. Trash in hallways and on steps. I should have taken the hint when i checked in and the leaving front desk person told the new one that they had an extra room because someone decided not to stay so they refunded. Wish i could get that option. Beds were hard and did not sleep.
