The Fontana Hotel

I don’t know the staff name that helped me, but they were young so helpful, kind, attentive and made me want to come back to this hotel. I at first seeing the building had every attention to get my money back and go somewhere else. I was met on Wednesday 08/19/26 evening by such a nice young lady and everyday after that until I left today 08/23/26 all the young adults made me feel heard and they went above the call of duty. Let me not end this review without saying two of the maintenance man from the Marriott next door went out there way to help me. The security man done his job making sure to drive around keeping us safe. The rooms were nice just needed some updates to the refrigerator that really don’t keep your food cold and my room door was not really secure. The latch on the door had the screws barely screwed in and the door was so hard to open. The bed linen could use replacing. But over all I come back the rooms were clean. Don’t let the outside fool it’s a nice hotel and staff the young adults was top tier.

The staff was professional and polite, the room was clean and remodeled.

Inside, the hotel is nice and I would stay there again. Especially now that I know how to get in the property!

We had a great stay!! Would definitely stay again. I was a little nervous based on all of the negative reviews, but nothing negative to report about our stay!!

Very clean spaces and the staff were great! The rooms were really clean and well kept and I enjoyed staying here. I would definitely come again!

Lobby and hall looked well kept. The room was a different story. The grout in the bathroom was black on the edges. Definitely only a one night stay.

Weird hotel, walked in to rap music playing in the lobby. Run down and awful decor. People just roaming around, extremely sketchy area. So glad we got in late and out early. Dry loud heard a baby crying at 12:30am banging doors non stop. Do not stay here.

Nice hotel - several “questionable” guests in hallways & parking lot, however…

The room was not very welcoming. The only lights in the room were the sconces next to the bed. This is not in the best part of Indianapolis. We were going to an Indiana Fever game and looking for a reasonably priced hotel to stay in because those close to the arena started in the $300's. The Fontana was reasonably priced and only 5 miles from downtown, but I would not stay here again. I'll pay more and stay downtown next time.

When we opened the door to our room there was trash and dirty sheets on the floor. We met another guest in the hallway who had the same issue - the room there were assigned was also not cleaned.

Great staff I loved the front desk lady Aaliyah she was every nice and helpful my entire stay.

Everything was good about the room clean everything worked comfy bed great staff I forgot my room number twice and the staff didn't have an attitude or disrespect nothing but respectful and helpful everytime

Breakfast was a disappointment. But other than that it was wonderful. They only offered cereal bars or oatmeal. No juice coffee no waffles !!!

The complementary breakfast was completely empty. It was a particularly bad look that the front desk staff were eating bagels and the bagel case was empty. Not much else there. Trashy people talking too loud in the hallways at 3 AM where the walls and doors are paper thin. Overall nasty… don’t do it

I booked with this hotel online. When I arrived, I was told there were no rooms available, and I’d have to stay across the way at another hotel, which was not comparable in quality. It was dark and dated and not at all what I wanted. I can’t really speak abt what The Fontana is like, other than to say I never stayed there because they didn’t honor their commitment to me.

The dining area needs to be cleaned, the microwave was in bad condition

We loved the cleanliness and the friendly staff. The room was nice comfortable beds and the bathroom was great. The statues and decor was very cool and the fact that we could use the amenities at the Marriott next door was a plus. Some things could use a little face lift especially a little rust in the corner of the shower kinda gross and the outside especially definitely needs a face-lift but otherwise a wonderful place to stay and the price is right I would go back for sure.
