Holiday Inn Express & Suites Indio - Coachella Valley by IHG

The staff were awesome.From arrival to departure, they were polite, professional, and very helpful. My room was clean, and I slept well on the mattress. Some things were in slight disrepair and the hallway rugs needed cleaning It was super hot, so the outdoor pool having no shade was not useable for me. I was on the third floor facing away from the highway, so it was not noisy as I expected it might be since the hotel is very close to I-10. Not very picturesque location, but convenient for getting back on the road the next day.

There wasn't a lot of parking. Staff wasn't friendly at all. Referred me to the self check in when I had questions. I was disappointed when I walked in the room. Everything seemed old even the paint on the wall. Seemed like the bathroom had been updated. It was clean. Do overall I was glad it was only for one night. Breakfast was not good. Not much of a variety. One choice of meat and that was turkey sausage. No bacon. No potatoes. Eggs not done well. The worst I've ever seen at a Holiday inn. The woman that should have been taking care of the kitchen area was having a 10 minute conversation with someone in the back area. Finally came out only to fix that person breakfast then they left and we never saw her again. It was early about 8am. I could see other guests looking for something they wanted to eat. You might want to forget about the free breakfast and go somewhere else. In April I stayed at two different properties. This was the worst. Maybe give two stars since the bed was comfy.

Love the full breakfast...machine brews fresh coffee n hot water avail in eating area 24/7...two turns and u are on main hwy 111 to go to coachella ...comfortable beds...my place to stay on future stays

I arrived before checkin time of 3pm, I asked if room was available and the lady at the front desk didn't even check, she just said come back in an hour or so, she seemed annoyed and wasn't very pleasant, other than that the hotel is well maintained and clean, I would stay here again
