Hostel Marmota- a chill base between the city & the mountains, located on the outskirts of Innsbruck, just 1.9 mi from the city center and only 1640 feet from Ambras Castle. It’s the perfect spot if you want to mix city life with real Alpine vibes. Free WiFi is available throughout the building, and guests can relax on the terrace with stunning views of the Nordkette. Reception hours: 07:00–11:00 and 14:00–22:00 Arriving late? No worries! After 10 pm you can use our self check-in tablet at the main entrance. Our simply furnished but comfy rooms include a private bathroom and toilet, one towel per guest, and no TV - a true escape to unplug and enjoy the mountains. Guests can also use: - a cozy common room with a bar - free luggage storage - ski & snowboard storage Public parking is available on site (extra charge 09:00–19:00; free on weekends and public holidays). The nearest restaurant and grocery store are just 1312 feet away, and Tivoli Stadium is 0.6 mi from the hostel. Mountain spirit included: No elevator here- just stairs! A little workout and a tiny adventure, but totally worth it when you reach the top!

The hostel was clean and the staff were friendly, but the breakfast was disappointing. The selection was very limited, and there weren’t many options to choose from.

Nice snow mountain view through the common area, while my room's view is the side garden, not fussy with the view, just so people know not every room has the mountain view. And very nice breakfast included too!

Nice hostel with friendly staff. Everything is clean, our room was small, but there was everything we needed. Breakfast was awesome, they even has gluten and diary free option for bread and butter! Parking is mostly on city spot, so you have to get a ticket in workdays

Location, bit far away from the main station, tram number 3 to Amras goes to the hostel.

A decent enough place, its a hostel so you get what you pay for. No complaints Parking, the ticket machine for parking is about 500mtr away from the street parking

Simple hostel, nice people at the reception. Clear communication. The bed was well made and the bathroom were clean. The bunk beds were squeaky! Like not mildly squeaky but annoyingly squeaky. Every small movement made a loud annoying sound. It felt like I was on walking on eggshells for the entire stay. The normal beds (not bunk beds) were fine and didn’t make strange noises.

Phone chargers in room and a small table that you can use as a desk No elevator, no TV. Very basic room and bathroom, soft mattress and a little chilly. Tables for breakfast too few, luckily 2 girls offered us to join them at their table.

Having breakfast at a good price with a stay nowadays is hard, even more a good one and Marmota had both- we loved it! It's a bit far from downtown on foot, but you can get there in a straight line and also easily with public transportation - tram line 3, 3-min wall from the hotel. You'll get an Welcome card if you stay at least 2 nights, which gives you public transportation for free, which is really helpful! The room to me was spacious, bed comfortable, clean and good shower. We had a great stay and I'd definitely stay there again in a next visit to amazing innsbruck!

Above all, Breakfast is included in all reservations apparently!!!! It was so delicious and some are typical Austrian with a lot of options ? Some people didn’t use the toilet properly. but it's not the hotel's fault.

The view was amazing, its way from the main town but no regret as the tram station is 2mins way, the location as very peaceful, we could see the snow capped mountains and the clouds adding charm to it. Breakfast was simple but good enough no food option nearby if you are late
