Hotel Dollinger

Location was walkable to everything. The room was laid out well and very comfortable. Breakfast was amazing everyday. Staff were attentive and fast if asked anything. Would stay here again. AC worked great in this heat wave. No fridge in the room meant we couldn’t store any cold drinks or room food but that’s it!

I liked the high quality end of every single detail of the hotel. The restaurant and the included breakfast was very very good. The outside of the building and the pictures of the family room don’t do justice to what it is inside. The views from the rooms are very good too. It was beyond our expectations and absolutely loved it. Even the staff is super kind and helpful. Very efficient hotel. Very hard working workers.

The hotel is lovely and the rooms are very modern and clean! The free breakfast is exquisite and the staff are so kind and welcoming. I will definitely stay again!

The weather ?

Room temperature was quite warm and the WiFi reception was frequently spotty. This could have been an abnormal occurrence.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. I highly recommend having dinner at the restaurant of the hotel - the food was amazing and the service was great. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. It was a short walk over the bridge for transport to the centre and the main attractions or a 20 minute walk, which I enjoyed. Too many mirrors and light switches. There was a kettle in the room but no cups, teas or coffee. The rooms at the front were noisy if you opened the windows as there is a busy street right outside the hotel. The bed was not very comfortable and neither were the pillows and the base of the bed needed some attention as the material was peeling off.

great breakfast, more than expected. the staff were the best. they even reserved us a cab and when i needed to change the cab for an earlier time after they had left, they were still able to help me

Large and clean room: even though it was a quad room, it was spacious enough not to feel closed in. Breakfast was abundant and good. The hotel restaurant had a good selection of food, at decent prices, and large portions - you never leave hungry. The staff were friendly and helpful. Top marks especially go to (we learnt later) the owners' daughter at reception. She was super helpful, explaining everything, from attractions, to the welcome card, bus routes and more. Her friendliness, enthusiasm and perfect English are truly superb assets for this historic hotel. The hotel is situated within 25 minutes' easy walk from the old city centre, or a quick bus ride away (free with the welcome card), with the bus stops right behind the hotel. The only 2 negative points I can find for this hotel are: 1: The bathroom has a sliding frosted glass door. Unfortunately, there is quite a gap between it and the wall when closed. Zero privacy, unfortunately. We got around it by sticking a blanket in the end of the rail, covering the gap. 2: The pillows. Can't keep their shape - no real support

Very nice room and lovely breakfast. Staff all seemed to enjoy their jobs. Walls are a little on the thin side and folks should know that the hotel is located quite away outside of central Innsbruck- about a half hour walk.

Very clean, recently updated, compact and practical rooms. Staff was great and breakfast was yummy.

The Air conditioned should be upgraded it it was not that cold in the room it was just like a fan

Everything about this hotel was truly top‑notch, exceeding expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been carefully thought out to create an exceptional guest experience. The dining options deserve special praise—dinner at the on‑site restaurant was absolutely outstanding, with beautifully prepared dishes, rich flavors, and a warm, inviting atmosphere that made the evening unforgettable. Breakfast the next morning was equally impressive, offering a generous variety of fresh, high‑quality options that catered to every taste and made for a perfect start to the day. Every element of our stay felt elevated, polished, and genuinely memorable. The only aspect of this hotel that I would consider changing would be the beds. While so many other elements of our stay were exceptional, the beds unfortunately did not meet our usual high standards for comfort. They felt firmer and less supportive than we had hoped, and after such a long day of travel and activities, we were really looking forward to a restful night’s sleep. A simple upgrade in mattress quality or bedding would make an already outstanding hotel experience truly perfect.

Very clean, great breakfast, quiet, great location to walk the path along the river and go to the cool town. There was no need to drive anywhere, since we had not planned to do more than that. When you are facing the building, the parking entrance is on the left side of the building. The receptionist will give you a code to drive back there. Just know that the 70s style is new; it's not old stuff. It is only made to look 70s, i.e. the shag carpet in one area of the room and the colors of the decorations.
