Great location! Beds were overall comfortable and felt clean. Staff were helpful and friendly ◡̈ Not a lot of fresh air, pretty grungy. Walls and floors felt dirty. Wasn’t a super comfortable place to hangout in or shower etc.

The place had an overall friendly vibe. The room I got assigned in had a window --which was great for ventilation and the rooms were cleaned everyday. It was just a small block away from Inverness castle and Inverness museum and there was a cute pub nearby which was great. Just a 10 to 15min walk away from the train station and the bus station. The common areas were also nice and the staff was friendly. None that I could think of.

The Location was good and it gave us a pretty good story to tell Well it’s a student hotel so it’s expectedly grungy but the etiquette was excellent. Everyone was really polite.

Very nice and helpful staff. Good location. Free coffee. Workable kitchen. Allowed me to park onsite. No lockers to store and secure belongings. Some beds just have zero storage space. Zero privacy . Bed are configured for numbers not comfort. Every door in the place squeaks- use some lube on hinges.

I love that they have an all women dorm. That’s hard to find. I wish there had been more outlets and one right next to my bed

The staff were friendly and the location was great. The showers were dirty and didn’t drain and the rooms were cramped.

Great price, good location, very comfy. Had a cool roommate. We weren't able to drop off bags early, but the restaurant that's just down the street let us set our bags somewhere while we ate.

    The facility is worn.

It had quiet bedroom. kitchen was nice. it was okay.

The room smelled unpleasant, and I couldn’t find any sockets to charge my phone, so I had to use one in the lobby. Despite being a hostel which isn’t usually the most comfortable type of accommodation the place was fairly decent. If you’re on a budget, it’s a great option.

Good location, price and decent facilities Compared to my previous stay it was dirty - especially the shower rooms

The exceptional value of JoJo's hostels - including this one in Inverness - mean they shouldn't be missed ... IF, that is, you don't mind sleeping on bunkbeds in mixed gender dormitory rooms, shared toilet facilities down the hall somewhere, no desk in your room, no place to hang your clothes up, no television, and all the other things that go with sharing close space with strangers. In other words, this is NOT for everyone. But for the student traveler on a tiny budget, the retirees re-living travel experiences of their youth, and a self-selected group of others ... I totally recommend looking into staying here.

Cleanliness wasn't the best, and there was a slightly confusion with my bed.

    They weren't pretentious nothing

It’s a good location, even though it’s a small city, then everywhere is a good location :D They have a cozy lobby perfect for social interactions. When I arrived there they were playing Harry Potter in a room for the guests, I loved it although I was in a packed itinerary and didn’t stay. It’s a simple place, perfect for a short stay. It was more expensive than hostels I’ve been with better facilities. The bed was no more than ok. They ask us to make off the bed, I find quite weird, I don’t complain though. The first staff I met didn’t look friendly and when I asked some questions again he looked quite impatient. The others though were friendly and helpful. They have a lock down time, and you’re not allowed to come in after some point.

Nice common area, where I got to meet some awesome people! It’s just twenty steps away from an awesome bar with live music, and a great view of the castle No smoking area

Lots of student types, you're close together. Everything in Scotland is slightly more pricey but this place offers good value, they have kitchen & it's got a cosy feel like visiting your parents over Xmas. It's fine for a few days up to a week. Not much, friendly place & receptionist.helpful, close to town centre. Hostel places vary, this one in a town/city environment has less space than one outside of a city in the country and you notice this in the rooms. But it's fine and offers good value.
