For a 3☆, it was value for money, comfortable and clean. We are a family of 5 and booked a family room which had two double beds and a sofa bed. Although the room was a little cramped with our suitcases, for 1 night the stay was fine.

Location and staff Size of room- very small Noise from boiler at 7.00am No coffee and dirty spoon left

This is a cracking wee b&b that had a great location and the warmest welcome from the host that really makes a difference

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel bar was a fun place to hang out, the location is great for going out and exploring Inverness

Fire alarm blared at 4:30am for 3 minutes Bed covers were too hot for summer

I could recommend having lunch and dinner at the hotel's restaurant. The restaurant has excellent food . The room where we lived needs to be renovated.

Bathroom was very dirty, had to complain and wait for the bathroom to be cleaned , bedroom wasn't much better, room was very loud from other guests

Receptionists were very pleasant. There was a technical issue with the key cards to every room. After apparently being solved my card constantly failed resulting in 4 trips up and down. The Manger forgot to apologise for my inconvenience. An old net curtain was on the floor of my wardrobe which was very dusty and dirty. The chair in front of the dressing table was extremely stained. The carpet was filthy.

Perfect location. I had a mixed experience during my stay. On the bright side, the two older ladies working the morning shift are absolute gems—they are so friendly, welcoming, and always smiling. I truly hope management provides extra training for the rest of the staff to match their wonderful customer service, as the other shifts left much to be desired. To make future stays much more comfortable, I strongly recommend a few additions: Mini-fridges in the rooms: This would be extremely helpful for guests traveling with a baby. Outdoor waste bins: Adding a trash bin in the parking area would improve cleanliness. Bathroom amenities: Please provide complimentary shampoo and dental care kits (toothbrush/toothpaste) in the bathrooms.

Very good

Excellent location, beautifully furnished room and great value for money. Very good breakfast, high quality ingredients. Staff are attentive and very helpful. There was a bit of a mix up with our room when we first checked in and at the same time a bus load of tourists turned up to check in so it took a little while to get sorted. When is was sorted however, our room was stunning. The hotel is mid-renovation, so double check you have booked into one of the renovated rooms. While breakfast itself was excellent, the hotel was very busy when we stayed and service would have been much improved if another member of staff were in the dining room rather than one member on her own.

Pleasant

There was no air conditioning and no air flow in the room so it was very uncomfortable for sleeping. The windows barely opened. Also no staff was at the desk the few times we went to it. We always had to ring the bell.

Disappointing

I really enjoyed my stay at the Beaufort Hotel in Inverness, a charming hotel set in a beautiful historic building. The room was spacious and bright, with a beautiful bow window offering lovely views of the surroundings. The hotel also has both a bar and a restaurant, which are great options for relaxing and enjoying the evening without having to go far. The location is excellent, very close to Inverness Castle, yet the area is peaceful and quiet. The staff were kind, helpful and welcoming, and gave us some great suggestions for exploring the city and making the most of our stay. Overall, a lovely and comfortable place to stay. Highly recommended! Honestly, there was nothing I didn’t like about my stay. Everything was excellent, from the room and location to the staff and the services offered by the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

Location was great. A ten minute walk to main area of town, but still far away enough to be quiet and offer great parking. Staff was incredibly friendly. Family room (bed plus pullout sofa) was a bit cramped for the four of us plus luggage. It was also quite stuffy and hot. We had the option to open the window but we have a climbing toddler who likes to wander at night so that wasn’t an option since the window was easily accessible. The staff provided a small fan on request which helped but was still a bit uncomfortable. Beds were not as comfortable as a standard hotel but did the job. Internet was poor, making it tough for kiddos to watch the morning TV while we prepped for the day.

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. When we requested a larger room, they were very helpful and arranged it immediately. The hotel has a lot of potential, and the good attitude of the team is a real asset. The location is convenient, on a quiet street only about a 10-minute walk from the city centre. The hotel feels quite dated and is in need of renovation. The price does not currently reflect the standard of the property, especially as it is not located directly in the city centre. The dinner was disappointing and the kitchen needs improvement. Sound insulation is also an issue, as we could clearly hear noise from other rooms, including water running from upstairs. After renovation, this hotel could become a much better value experience.
