the location was in the city.... allowing for easy walking around. The breakfast was filling and accommodate a GF family member with GF bread that was purchased ahead of time for us. We informed them of GF requirement and they were prepared. thanks. We lucked out on a parking spot right on the street... Very usual.

We stayed at Ialna Hotel last year and we just fell in love with the place. So we decided to stay again this year. It was a pleasent stay and we enjoyed the beautiful surroundings of Ioannina. It felt like a homecoming :)

Great location close by shops, restaurants, museums etc. Nice interior design and spacious room. Very polite crew. Let me try to describe what a $120 per night bought us at this hotel. First let’s start with the cleanliness of the room. We arrived at around 09:00 which we knew it was was way early for a check in but the receptionist very politely offered to keep the suitcases for us until the time of check in which it was at 15:00. We came back by then and the first thing we saw when we walked in the room was the coffee station, where opened sugar packets were opened from previous tenants and were still left on the tray and sugar spilled on the tray. Spider webs were on the ornaments on the top shelve (just trying to explain the picture of the wooden forks and spoons, just zoom in the picture). The light sensor of the living room was state of the art covered with scotch tape ( they really MacGyvered that out) We had some perishable stuff with us so we proceeded on putting them in the mini fridge that was in the living room only to find out that the mini fridge was wormer than the room ( even other guests had their milk containers placed outside their windows which proved to me that it wasn’t only our fridge that wasn’t working).Than we proceeded to the bedroom and the bathroom. Floor was dusty not swept nor washed with hair still sticking on the wall, this was not for the first day nor the second or the third, them floors were never cleaned during our 6 days stay. During our stay the lotion or conditioner that we found the first day were never replenished during our stay. The bed was made everyday but the pillow covers were ripped off and holes on the bed sheets every time they were changed, I don’t have a word for that…. On the room description was mentioned mini bar which it was no where to be found not sure what the management meant by that, to me a mini bar means a mini fridge filled with beverages for a price perhaps they were lost in translation and never filled it up or never was any in the first place.

Breakfast was great as is the location of the hotel inside the castle. But what made our experience so unique was the personality of Violeta! She is an amazing person who went out of her way to help us with any question we had and gave us great recommendations. We would definitely recommend staying at this hotel. Our room was right near the reception but during the night it was quiet.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were cozy, spotless, and very comfortable. The service was excellent, and the location, right inside the castle, was truly exceptional. A special thank you to Violeta for being there for everything we needed and for making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Beautiful, elegant boutique hotel with wonderful hospitality , modern amenities and delicious breakfast. Great location within the ancient fortress walls, a few minute walk to the lake, castle ruins and museums.

We were 20 friends and had 10 rooms. The hotel is absolutely amazing! Each room has its own personality and all our rooms were very nice, clean, well equipped and beautifully designed. Breakfast was perfect. For any question or request, restaurant recommendations and reservations, ask for Violeta. She is amazing. We recommend taking a sunrise walk to the lake or castle for a beautiful golden reflection on the water.

Location is very convenient, breakfast was good We stayed in the first floor near reception and it was loud in the morning when we’re talking in the lobby. Wish it was more soundproof

This location is definitely a boutique hotel, beautiful old building brought back to life in a beautiful setting Rooms are carefully designed and have everything you need Staff members were super professional, we especially appreciate Violetta's help, she arranged a ferry reservation and gave us a list of places to visit in town and in our final destination, she did so in seconds and with a big smile

Perfect place! Everyone was very helpful, big thanks to Violet! The hotel provides parking permit to park inside the castle, so don't let the parking restrictions deter you from booking.

The property was very beautiful. It was very clean and modern and perfectly decorated. The building was beautiful as was the courtyard as well. Nothing, It was all perfect.

A very nicely decorated old Ottoman style house situated in the heart of the old town. The architecture takes your breath away. The room was very convenient for a family of 3 providing both comfort and privacy. Staff was friendly and helpful. It is a kind of place where you want to spend time and enjoy the surroundings. Nothing I can say.
