A wonderful historic property in the historic area of Old Ioannina. Close the lake for lovely evening walks, visit to “The Island”, Ioannina castle and loads of history. Daily full breakfast and lots of local restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Kind and generous staff. Easy central location to access stunning day trips in the area. Nothing!! Enjoyed every minute!

We really enjoyed our stay at KAMARES Historic Boutique Hotel. First of all, the location is wonderful. We arrived in Pascoa and it was a 3-minute walk to the main church. Very close to the fortified city and the sites within it, very close to the lake. The staff was welcoming and helpful. They also arranged parking for us in front of the hotel. The breakfast is good too. The room we got was relatively large, but there was no room to open two suitcases. They helped us carry our suitcases, we had to climb 38 steps from the lobby to the room. Inside the room we had to climb 3 steps to get to the bathroom. We would love to come back and get a different type of room.

Some of the most friendly hotel staff we’ve ever encountered. All the employees at the front desk asked how we were doing every time we walked through the lobby. The young lady that managed breakfast was also very attentive, professional, and skilled at making omelettes and coffee. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to the room with the fireplace. The architecture and design of the building is truly mesmerizing. It’s evocative of a Byzantine Inn from nearly a millennium ago. We were kind enough to get a room upgrade free of charge, which was very appreciated. Great bed, shower, welcome gifts, etc. Ioannina itself was gorgeous with its antique old town and beautiful lake being overlooked by snowcapped mountains. Nothing, nada, niente.

Nice traditional breakfast, with fresh juice and various home made sweets. Friendly staff can also make you custom omelette and coffee. The place has many stairs that you have to carry your suitcase.

The property is in an excellent location, close to everything the city has to offer. The property was very unique and was very well maintained. All of the staff were always very friendly and outgoing. The breakfast was outstanding and service was very good. The Omelets were awesome! The room was great with an oversized very comfortable bed.

Excellent location, accommodations, and service. The room was spacious, clean, and we had everything needed for our comfort. Staff was very helpful and always willing to assist if needed. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Nothing comes to memory that I did not like.
