Good location

Loved the balcony, proximity to John Wayne airport, and the pool area. Some of the furniture was a bit worn/stained but not enough to be bothered by it. Just could use some updates.

Nice spot for a night.

Not as clean as I would’ve expected. There was blood on one of my towels. My biggest complaint is what they charge for parking $28/night. Next is hearing the doors slam all night long. I would never recommend this place to anyone and I will never be staying here myself again. Team Ayres & Hilton. This place sucks!!!!!

The toilet leaked from the bottom when flushed. Mold on the bathroom ceiling. Coffee pot was broken. This hotel needs a major upgrade.

Was food debris left in the room from a previous traveller. Heavy mildew smell in the first floor hallway (past water damage left untreated?). Was a late booking/arrival due to airline flight cancellation. Spoke with overnight manager about getting towels after seeing there were only 2 for 4 guests. He explained he could only get 1 type of towel and that was that. The rating shown on Expedia did not reflect the sad state of the interior condition, condition of the room, or the guest experience. Would not recommend this place. Was going to give a 1-star but knowing there are worse places I ranked this as a 2-star to try and be fair but the room condition definitely was 1-star.

The young man at the front desk Camilo was probably the best part of staying at the hotel. Unfortunately, the first room had a strong mildew smell and bedding was very damp with visible water stains on sheets, and the table near by was also saturated with water. Thankfully Camilo changed the room and it was much better than the first. However, carpets are stained and furniture/decor is dated. There were no bugs, air conditioner works well, tried looking for an ice machine but was not in the area found on room map, the beds are comfortable for sleep and balcony is suitable. The hotel is across from the airport but no air traffic is heard. If you are going for a couple or more nights with more than 1 person ask for extra towels. ALSO, "Note Two Important Details" If you're wanting a room with a refrigerator they are only in rooms with king beds. You can request a refrigerator for an extra $10 per night. Also, parking costs $28 per night and is in a secure area.

The room smelt like mildew and wasn’t happy about paying 28 dollars for parking

Beds were very comfortable although the bathroom very outdated and very small shower. The hotel also had an old building smell to it and the parking getting in and out was confusing and wasn’t really explained during check in. The staff was great. Also no bar, like pictured in the pictures of the hotel and no hot tub. AC was not working in the gym room.

This hotel is very old - stay was terrible. We felt like we’re camping in the woods. No soap and shampoo. Very old facility. They should close this hotel down.
-
The Pool area is very nice and was the best part of our stay. Overall hotel was clean just dated and a closed up type odor in the hallway and room. Shower had very low water pressure. Air conditioning worked good as well.

Everything about this hotel was perfect the rooms are so cute and clean.I felt that we were on an actual vacation the. The pool area is so inviting. I would go back The only negative about it is that you do have to pay $28 daily parking for this hotel. It would be great if they served breakfast. Besides that there is nothing else I didn't like
