Everything surpassed my expectations. Lady at the reception was very nice, very helpful. She made sure my keys worked, walked me through hotel. Location probably best in town. Place was very clean. Not sure where the negative reviews on Google came from. Definitely driven by some personal grievances, not justified by reality. Everything was great.

It felt like a community! I loved it. Haha the beds were a bit stiff but that’s okay! Other than that everything was amazing!

great location. friendly staff. good price. able to leave your luggage before and after checkout. slightly dirtier than i expected. the single rooms aren't completely enclosed at the windows so you can hear your neighbours but bearable with earplugs.

lovely staff! great location! There is big space between bed and wall so everything falls down, and can't recover it until next morning when other traveler wakes up.

Close to restaurants and the port. Has a kitchen. Only AC in the bedroom and not in the common area or the kitchen, making it very uncomfortable to be there. No sheets on the bed, which felt dirty

1. Location near ferry and bus 2. Pleasant fellow guests. 1. Entrance was hard to find. 2. Host always appeared rushed and impatient.

Awesome location, right beside the roofed shopping street, close to the ferry port terminal, and the bus terminal. They have a few bicycles your can use for free up to 6 hours, which was very helpful to get around, or get to the beach. The roof-top terrace was a comfortable space to hang out or hang your laundry to dry. Kitchen and common area were well equipped and always kept clean. Not the guesthouse's fault, but there were a couple of older gentlemen staying who clogged up the common space and just spent all day sitting inside watching tv.

Great location, very close to the ferry port and airport bus stop. The shopping street is nearby, and there are tons of restaurants in the surrounding area. Had everything you'd expect and need at a hostel.

It was a great place to stay in Ishigaki and use as a hub to hop to different Yaeyama islands for day trips. Also, near the bus station, so was convenient. It was close to Family mart, JA Farmers market and other restaurants nearby. The hostel was kept clean, and the rooms are comfortable with A/C. The people we met in the hostel were friendly and nice, we got to chat with everyone in the evenings in the dining area and on the roof. The steps are quite steep from one side, so difficult to climb with luggage, we were helped by the host. Use the back stairs from within the market, as they are much easier to climb.
