THE HOTEL SANRAKU KANAZAWA

Excellent hotel, everything impeccable.

The breakfast was a little pricey, but understandable when you experience the quality. Their sushi is excellent, as you'd expect, but the French toast was a little undercooked for my taste. This was consistent, so it's clearly how they want it to be cooked. The shuttle to the train station is very handy, but doesn't run as long as we needed on our arrival. Very minor issues overall, this place was really fantastic.

Great value for money Very nice and comfortable room Kanazawa is a nice place to relax a bit after busy Tokyo Relatively expensive dinner for which you have to confirm by 5:30Pm (not a minute later)

The location and service Nothing

This is a beautiful hotel with an amazing front entrance, lobby and beautiful gardens. The location was very convenient for everything we wanted to see. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The property was beautiful. The only wish was that the lounge/bar was more reasonable in price. I few times we thought we might indulge as it was conveniently in the hotel, but we found the prices too high for a simple drink. Anytime we went in the lounge it was empty. We also did not partake in the breakfast buffet? As it too was very expensive, and we really only wanted eggs. We found a great little cafe around the corner that we had breakfast at a couple times!

My family of 4 and I enjoyed the location of the hotel as far as it was walking distance to pretty much everything we went to. The bathroom and amenities were top notch! DONT skip taking a soak with their hotel bath salts. We did not get breakfast at the hotel everyday but its worth it at least once. Just add smart tvs, as silly as that sounds.

The property was beautiful from the minute you walk in . Staff friendly. Rooms spotless and comfortable . Brilliant location. Easy walk to Fish market, castle, geisha district and samurai district . Location . Easy walk to all the sights . Safe and quiet neighbourhood . Friendly staff.

The rooms were very comfortable and a very nice size. The onsen facilities were fabulous. The hotel is very well located and a walk away from very nice cafes and restuarants. Would highly recommend the place. It would be nice to have a gym. Breakfast seemed a bit overpriced so we ended up eating breakfast outside.

Great location - we were able to walk to all the major sites in Kanazawa. We also really appreciate the free shuttle bus service to the train station. The availability of laundry machines can be seen from the hotel TV which makes doing laundry much easier and efficient. The breakfast is very good too! None.

It was conveniently located and we appreciated the loaned umbrellas. Nothing.

The property had great finishings, felt both modern, and rooted in culture. All the staff were helpful, but some were slightly rigid. The rooms could have been a bit nicer and the lobby wasn’t what you’d expect from a hotel at that price point particularly in a city like Kanazawa.

Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff and centrally located to major attractions. Nothing. It was all fabulous.

Hotel Sanraku was one of the hotels in Japan that truly impressed us. The hotel itself was beautiful, comfortable, and elegant, with a warm atmosphere that made our short stay in Kanazawa feel special. The location was also excellent, with convenient access to Kanazawa Station, Kanazawa Castle, Kenrokuen Garden, the Nagamachi Samurai District, and the Higashi Chaya District. Our room was lovely, and my wife was especially impressed by the thoughtful amenities provided. She kept commenting on how much care seemed to have gone into making guests feel comfortable, and those details really added to the sense that this was a hotel that paid attention to its guests. The service was also exceptional. At one point, I had a concern about a Sagawa luggage delivery message, and a woman at the front desk helped us with patience and care until the confusion was resolved. It turned out everything was fine, but her kindness and professionalism gave us real peace of mind. Even though we only stayed briefly, Hotel Sanraku left a lasting impression. Between the beautiful room, the excellent location, the thoughtful amenities, and the wonderful staff, it became one of the places we will remember warmly from our trip to Japan. The only thing we did not like was that we stayed for just one night. Both my wife and I were taken with Kanazawa, and after Kyoto, it became the city we most hope to return to someday. We would have loved more time to enjoy Hotel Sanraku, its thoughtful amenities, and its excellent location.

location was great nothing

The hotel could be best described as affordable luxury! The rooms we spacious and beautifully decorated. The staff made you feel welcome and appreciated. I would go back to this hotel in a heartbeat!

A very convenient location to Kanazawa Castle and gardens. No onsen facilities

We absolutely LOVED this hotel and Kanazawa. We were only here one night but it was the best sleep of our entire trip -- incredible comfort, quiet, peace. We slept like big dogs in short grass. We loved the hotel so much, fabulous value, I really could go on and on. The room worked for our family of three -- we were all so comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and lovely. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, so we can't speak to that. But just a wonderful, wonderful experience. I kept wishing every other hotel we stayed in was as good as the Hotel Sanraku Nothing could have been better -- it was perfect.
