The ginger coffee they served is delicious!

The cafe at check-in had great drink options and a simple breakfast that was tasty and satisfying. Every time we traveled through the cafe the staff were friendly and helpful. While there we did some laundry and the machines were clean and simple to use. Location-wise this hotel was within easy walking distance of the castle and Kenrokuen gardens which made for a great base for exploring the city. There were limited breakfast options at the cafe.

The best staff! They were friendly and cheerful. We loved the homemade granola and yogurt that was available for breakfast and the cafe.

The location was perfect for us. The castle grounds were a short 5 minute walk, and the market was even closer. We wer midway between the 2 main Chaiya districts and close to lots of restaurants. But it was the staff that really make this hotel. They are lovely. Friendly, helpful and full of the kind of energy that spreads happiness. And they make really good coffee. Like all hotels in Japan the rooms were a bit cramped, but less than most.

Great location that’s not in the center but not far either Room had a horrible odor. Unsure if it’s a mold and moisture issue but the stench hit you as soon as the room door opened. Hallways and common areas did not smells so I think it could just be I was unlucky with my room.

Lovely! Everything was perfect. Some very nice touches like plants everywhere, and filtered water and a vending machine in the spotless laundry room. Super attentive staff and great coffee. The breakfast granola was delicious. Also comfortable beds. It was impressive that, because there’s no daily cleaning service they gave us clean towels and pajamas for each night of our stay. It’s located right next to the market- a great place to pop in for snacks and dinner. Highly recommended

Everything! From the tastefully decorated lobby and cafe to the new restaurant next door serving up authentic tacos, this is my favorite place to stay in Kanazawa. Ideally located within walking distance of all the historic districts, the hotel is central to many excursions around the city. The staff speaks better English than I do and are always warm and welcoming. The rooms are clean with fresh linens and towels. Coin washer/dryer on property. I love this place! Nothing.

Hotel Pacific Kanazawa was a fantastic place to stay and easily met our expectations. What truly stood out was the incredibly helpful and friendly staff—they made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and were always ready to assist with anything we needed. The location couldn’t be better. It’s just a few steps from Omicho Market and very close to the castle grounds, making it easy to explore some of Kanazawa’s top sights on foot. There are also plenty of great restaurants nearby, so finding something delicious was never a problem. We stayed in four single private rooms, each with its own bathroom, and everything was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. A thoughtful touch was the pajamas they provided, which came in especially handy while doing laundry. Overall, Hotel Pacific Kanazawa offers a perfect mix of comfort, convenience, and warm hospitality. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The reception area is on the smaller side, but it still worked for us—we were even able to gather and hang out there as a group a couple of times.

Location was also good. In general was a nice hotel Very small toilet. If you have over 1.70, think carefully.

Room was spotless. I arrived by bicycle and was able to park the bike overnight just behind the hotel. Wasn't an issue for me, but the window blinds, even on their darker setting, can still let in some morning sun

The location of the hotel is perfect. Having the coffee shop downstairs in the reception was so warm and inviting. The staff were always so welcoming and helpful. The room was a good size and really clean. It is a great spot to stay.

The location is pretty central and you can walk everywhere from there, if not you can rent the bike from the hotel. The room was quite small but had everything you need. The hotel staff has been always supper helpful and welcoming. The bar at the ground floor is a bonus, nice coffees and I loved the yuzu tea!

The place was very clean and pleasant. The room we got was spacious, which we really appreciated considering the amount of luggage we had. The staff were very friendly and helpful with anything we needed. Everything was excellent! The only small downside for us was that the pillows and the mattress were a bit too firm for our liking.
