SOKI KANAZAWA

One of my favorite lodgings I’ve ever stayed in. Comfortable, friendly staff, great location for seeing Kanazawa, and the rooms are amazing.

Clean, interesting breakfast, nice staff location The beds are comfortable and clean. However they are too small to be functional. There is no space besides the bed and a small area.

It was beautiful and an amazing location! Probably that you had to be naked for the public pool but I totally understand that’s the culture.

Excellent location, clean, stylish, comfortable room. The public bath was very nice. The room needed a better space to place suitcases.

The location was perfect...walkable distance to the castle, the garden, Higashichaya and Samurai districts, and great cafes and restaurants. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and I loved the interior -- modern Japan. And the bed and pillows were quite comfy. The only things missing were a few coffee pour-over packs and a chair for the table...if you plan on using your PC or writing a postcard! I would have appreciated face wash and lotion, but that would be a cherry on the top!

The overall atmosphere of the hotel (modern but Japanese-y), the cleanliness, the friendliness of the staff, the location (we only used a taxi twice over our 4-say stay) -- everything was great! Even the futon on the raised platform was super comfy. Not complaints...just wishes! I wish there were a few more amenities in the room, like face wash and face cream. And I would have appreciated a chair for the table -- it was hard to write while sitting on the bed. And a choice of coffee with the teabags that were offered.

Convenient location, kind staff, clean rooms. Walking distance from the market which was helpful. The provided hotel room tea was good. Value for money was worth it. Sento was a little crowded. I feel like the room is more style over function - I appreciated the minimal design but I don't know if it was the best use of limited space. Additionally the scent of the hand soap was quite strong and offensive. It was honestly enough to make me book somewhere else next time.

We needed a little more room for our luggage.

Only point we struggled was the washing machines - one of them was in repair and 2 machines were making it almost impossible to catch them available due to high demand.

Really beautiful rooms, lovely staff, fantastic location and amenities. Loved our stay, would definitely come back!

Our corner king room was clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel is fabulous—close to the fish market, castle, gardens and the geisha quarter. The layout of the room was a little odd, and the entire experience was a bit impersonal.

Really nice room. Great location, everything was at a walking distance, didn’t have to use bus at all (we like to walk a lot). Really comfortable bed. Hotel amenities were great, some free drinks available near the onsen. The room was a little bit small. Not too much space if you have big luggage. The pillows could be a little bit hard (same problem in every other hotel we stayed in Japan)

Really nice place and more traditional than others

There was not really a place to sit in the foyer and the restaurant while it looked delicious was a bit pricey.

The direct access to the public bath plus the fact that they gave you everything you needed including slippers and a robe. Room was very clean. Only Japanese television, no water or coffee in the room.
