Plaza Almendros Hotel Isla Mujeres

Nice little Hotel next to the Main Avenue. And 2 Blocks away from the Main Beach. Close to everything. The pool it's Ok and also his little Garden.. Nice A.C. Mini fridge it's ok and has a Ceiling fan and Smart TV . The safe actually works good , little small but works. Little noise since I pick our Room with a Balcony and the Balcony faces the main Avenue , but the quite the nosie at Around midnight and the noise it's not full blast. Noise start when the sun goes down. Missing a Coffee maker .

Limited water pressure upstairs shower.

The location was central to everything No hot water in the shower, the fan was always on full blast, couldn’t turn it off.

All the food places were very near and they were really good. Also it was near the beach

Pool and location to beach Very run down rooms. Noise from street bars till 3 am on a few nights.

It’s right in downtown Isla Mujeres, so it’s right by the restaurants, shopping, and 2 blocks from the beach. We really didn’t have hot water in the shower.

The location and is good value for money. Nothing, everything was fine.

The staff is friendly and helpful. We had a minor problem and they fixed it quickly. The pool is beautiful and the bed is very comfortable. I have stayed here many times and will do so again.

Nothing Place was filthy. Toilets didn’t flush. No hot water. No water pressure period. Front desk staff tried charging more for the room than what I booked it for. Had to negotiate the rate with the staff that was still more than my booking. Additionally, we checked out 4 days in advance. Spend a little more and stay somewhere else.

GOOD LOCATION, CLOSE TO EVERTHING. THE PLACE WAS DIRTY, WHEN WE ARRIVED THEY DIDN'T ATTEND US, THE MR AT THE RECEPTION SEEMED TO HAVE NO ROOMS AVAILABLE, HE KEPT US THERE FOR 15 MINUTES WAITING, WITHOUT GIVING US INFORMATION, WHILE WE WENT AROUND THE PLACE, IT WAS FULL AND NEGLECTED, WE DECIDED NOT TO CONTINUE WAITING BECAUSE THE APPEARANCE OF THE PLACE WAS NOTHING LIKE THE PHOTOS ON THE PLATFORM, A COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT, THE LOCATION IS GOOD BUT THE PLACE AND THE SERVICE VERY BAD.

No hot water, you could hear a band playing until 11:00 at night.

The room was well equiped with the microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and refrigerator. Had a good bed and a nice table and chairs. The shower always had hot water and was a good size. Great location, near the beach and restaurants and bars just steps away. Even with those businesses close by, the hotel was very quiet and the pool was great. Cleaning of the bathroom mirror would have been nice.

The location is the only positive thing I can write. Let me start with the only positive, the location. Its great, and despite the noise it was convenient to be so close to all the action. The bad & the ugly: this hotel (more like a run down hostel) is dirty, run down and just sad. No wi fi in rooms, broken everything and money spent was a total rip off. We paid 1200$ for 4 nights and it seemed reasonable until arriving. Our reservation was for a pool view/garden side room. Instead we were put on the street side which was crazy noisy. Not that the pool area was even close to nice. When I inquired about getting the proper room I was just told no, all booked. Trying to inquire (with my limited Spanish) about a discount was impossible, all they kept saying was ask booking.com. Safe was drilled out, bags of garbage/housekeeping stuff was left in the hallway directly by the stairs for 2 days( hello fire hazard), and the ac worked intermittently. I normally don't care about housekeeping but with facilities already as dirty and run down as they are, a sweep of the floor and wipe down of the bathroom might have helped. We saw housekeeping everyday cleaning checked-out rooms but only had towels thrown in our bathroom 1 out of the 4 days and that was it. Nothing was addressed ever by the hotel and that was frustrating. I hope to be provided with some discount for the room mix up but that remains to be seen. There are cheaper, cleaner, more comfortable options in the same location do not waste your money here.

Good location. Close to the beach Very noisy. Been up all night due to noise. The time of writing this is 4:30 in the morning, and I'm still up because of loud banging noise

Well located,the pool is a plus but the hotel itself is getting old and on the second floor the noise is really noticeable with people closing their door in the hallway. The air conditioner is leaking, and the fosset. Noisy and the water leaking
