Best Western Plus Hotel & Residences Istanbul

Everything was good. Bed and air temperature in room was comfortable to sleep, breakfast is satisfying, the staff was very polite. The kettle didn't work; I asked for a replacement, but the one they brought didn't work either. The room wasn't cleaned even once during my three-day stay

Faysal, the kind concierge gave me a warm welcome. The room was nice and clean. Bathroom had marble all over. The kitchenette only had only 2 of these: drinking and wine glasses, plates. One fork and one knife. So, a bit useless for cooking (no pots, pans and tools). The view could be better. Green grass mixed with trash and heaps of scrapped walls and bricks. Supermarkets nearby.

Staff were great.However , the finance department or whoever is in charge of credit customers is no good They give me a run around about crediting my credit card , it's more than eight days and i'm leaving and I left and I still did not get my money back

Location Hotel is located in a residential property, some floors are rented out to hotel. Therefore the staff and facilities are weird. You don't feel like you are in a hotel. The towels are not clean. They are old and have spots on them. To make it clear for the property, Spa means massage, and you don't have it. So, it's misleading to write spa on the description. There is a pool, sauna, and steam room but almost always closed. So I was never able to use them although I paid extra for this hotel due to having those facilities. Also the location to go to those facilities is so weird. You need to take a long walk in dark and dusty car parking to approach there. The staff of the social facilities are also weird, they are not hotel's staff, they work for the residential property, so they are very unprofessional.

I’ve already written a review but booking.com is allowing me a second because I extended my stay through them. A few things I forgot to mention - 1) cleaning crew does a good job but doesn’t come everyday unless requested 2) AC is powerful but there’s only one unit per suite so the bedroom is warmer than living space 3) Hotel offers laundry service, it’s pricey, I found a laundromat nearby and did my own drop off and pickup 4) The pool is so much fun but there are women only days to be aware of 5) The sauna and steam room are lovely and clean - close at 9pm Once again, big thank you to Ridwan and the whole team.

This is a great place for families with kids. Suites are spacious with large fridge and microwave and big screen tv. It’s actually clean too!! There is a lovely pool (you must have swim caps to access. They are available for purchase for 100TL). The parking lot is large and safe. This is not a fancy pants hotel with views and luxury amenities. This is a family friendly, very comfortable hotel that will make your time in Turkey less stressful. We drove to the Zeytinburnu T1 station, parked on the street somewhere, and took the tram into town. At the end of the day, we went back to Zeytinburnu, picked up the car, and drove back to the hotel with ease. There’s not a ton of food options around but the restaurant next door, Zeki Usta, is delish, fair priced, and the owners and workers didn’t rip us off which was a welcome difference from nearly every other place in Istanbul. There’s also a grocery store down the block so we stocked up on water, bread, jams, cheeses, and snacks each day. The adjacent neighborhood, Yenibosna, is a 5 min drive, street parking available, and lots of super local eateries. Hotel staff were friendly, helpful, and took good care of me when I hurt my ankle. They gave me ice packs, let me borrow a wheelchair, and helped me to and from the car until I got better. I didn’t plan to stay here for two weeks but I extended twice because of how comfortable the room and overall hotel experience was. Turkey is a difficult place to be. The language barrier, general unfriendliness of the people, and prejudice against foreigners (which manifests in massively being ripped off almost everywhere). Ridwan and team at Best Western Plus were the best part of our trip. Need a car to access tourist hot spots. While driving in Istanbul is very hard, I think for my kids and I it was the best way to see everything and stay in an affordable hotel that was incredibly comfortable and easy to stay in. You can stay closer to the action but picking a hotel will be very hard and there’s a high chance it won’t be a nice experience. Also having a car allowed us to go to to other cities, beaches, and the Asian side frequently.

The hotel was clean I book a double room but I get 2 beds instead. Couldn’t sleep with my partner . On the swimming pool they ask womens to cover their hair, they said that they provide those things but they didn’t have anymore left. That was for my whole stay . I choose the hotel for swimming pool but never had acces to it. When book the stay it was writing in there that breakfast it’s included. When I ask for breakfast they said that there it’s a fee of 10$ per person.

Good hotel, reception guy was amazing attnding us, very comfortable rooms. They even have cinema room. We couldn't try the swimming pool. Gym was a bit small, but good enough. However, it was a bit hard to find, as we had to go through the whole parking.

good location easy to find and public transport nearby. new building, not overcrowded, nice stuff there isn’t breakfast and facilities like sauna and steam room weren’t working during 3 days of staying

The staff are very helpful! The room is just like how it looks in the picture, clean and spacious. It is also very quiet and dark, and I had good sleep there.
