I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, the rooms are comfortable and the stuff is very helpful. Thanks a lot for everything!

After I completed my reservation through Booking.com for 1 adults and 5 children, the front desk asked my wife to pay an additional €25 per child upon arrival. This extra charge was not clearly stated during the booking process, which was disappointing and created an unexpected expense. Better transparency regarding additional fees would have improved our experience.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room was below expectations. Another major issue was the fire alarm, which went off every night and repeatedly disrupted our sleep, making it very difficult to get a proper night’s rest. We also experienced ongoing problems with the room key cards, which frequently stopped working and had to be reactivated multiple times during our stay. This was both inconvenient and frustrating. In addition, despite making our reservation months in advance and specifically requesting a full/double bed, we were given single beds instead. This was uncomfortable and showed a lack of attention to our reservation preferences. Overall, the stay was disappointing, and I would not choose this hotel again. I cannot recommend this hotel based on our experience.

They offered free tea because of our complaints For two consecutive nights at 3am fire alarm was going off for no reason for 30 minutes and it made me crazy!! First, there is effectively no usable climate control. Rooms were either uncomfortably hot or freezing cold, with no reasonable way to maintain a comfortable temperature. The bathroom plumbing was unacceptable. The water pressure was so weak that multiple flushes were often required just to clear waste. Something is clearly wrong with the system. The condition of the rooms was equally disappointing. One of our rooms had a broken door lock, making something as simple as entering the room a frustrating process every single time. The Do Not Disturb function also did not work properly in one of the rooms. Cleanliness was far below any acceptable hotel standard. The bed sheets and bedding arrived visibly dirty, which is completely unacceptable for paying guests. The floors were damaged, lifting, and separating in multiple areas, creating both an eyesore and a potential safety hazard. The carpet and surrounding areas also appeared poorly maintained. I’ve attached photos documenting every issue mentioned above, including the damaged flooring, gaps and lifted sections throughout the room, dirty bedding, and the broken door hardware. For the price charged, this hotel fails at the basics: cleanliness, maintenance, comfort, and functionality. Save yourself the frustration and do not waste your money here. There are far better options available.

Location Old furniture and smell

location, close to metro station, overall experience was good, was worried reading all negatives reviews but please don't be put in by them. It was a bit noisy from the street but once the window was closed you couldn't hear anything which was great.

Room was pretty standard but good. They have spa which is a bit limited but works They offer very expensive massages

The only things I would mention as downsides are some maintenance issues. For example, the toilet paper holder fell off the wall, and the fridge was quite noisy, although I had nothing inside it, so I could simply switch it off. But all in all, it is a good hotel, and I would recommend it.

As a solo traveler, I was initially given a very small room and had to request a change. Many rooms, including the replacement, face the parking lot. Privacy was an issue. The third-floor cleaner ignored the "Do Not Disturb" sign more than once - entering without knocking while I was getting ready, and cleaning the room in my absence with the sign still up. The laundry service was the main problem. My clothes were significantly delayed and my questions went unanswered. At checkout, the receptionist Omer miscalculated the bill in his favor and only then mentioned a "cash-only" policy for laundry, which was never communicated upfront. After some discussion, card payment turned out to be possible after all. No receipt was provided. The laundry quality was also poor: some items came back wet, others dusty, everything smelled strongly of cheap detergent, and a few pieces weren't properly cleaned.

My stay at Jaff Hotels & Spa Nisantasi was genuinely enjoyable and exceeded my expectations in many ways. One of the biggest highlights is definitely the location — perfectly positioned in a vibrant part of Istanbul with excellent access to the metro, buses, restaurants, cafés, and everyday conveniences. Whether you’re exploring the city, shopping, or simply walking around, everything feels easily accessible and lively both during the day and at night. The atmosphere around the hotel is very energetic yet comfortable, making it ideal for travelers who enjoy being close to the action without feeling disconnected from the local vibe. The nearby eateries and transport connections make moving around Istanbul extremely convenient. What truly stood out for me, however, was the hospitality from the reception team. The gentlemen at the front desk were exceptionally warm, professional, and always ready to assist with anything needed. Their friendliness and willingness to help created a very welcoming environment and made the stay feel personal rather than transactional. Overall, I would highly recommend Jaff Hotels &Spa Nisantasi for anyone looking for: * A strategic and lively location * Easy access to public transport * Plenty of nearby dining options * Friendly and supportive staff * A comfortable city-stay experience in Istanbul A great choice for both first-time visitors and returning travelers to Istanbul. However, there were a few areas that I believe could be improved. My experience with the spa attendant was unfortunately disappointing. I found him unwelcoming and, at times, his attitude came across as discriminatory, which made the experience uncomfortable. I believe the hotel management should address this and consider improving customer service within the spa area to ensure all guests feel equally welcomed and respected. Additionally, the breakfast options became quite repetitive over the course of the stay. While the food was decent, having more variety and alternative options would greatly improve the overall guest experience, especially for visitors staying several days.

Staff were nice. The hotel is listed as 4 stars but it was more like 2 stars due to burnt sheets, water stains on the ceilings, ripped curtains, dirty bathroom floors and walls, etc.

The staff is very friendly, specially Isa who helped us with our bags. It was a pleasure meeting him! Everyone at reception is nice and the young lady who manages breakfast by herself also does a great job. The hotel is close to the metro, just a 2min walk and 2 stations from Taksim. Close to a lot of shops and restaurants. Bed is comfortable and of a good size, and there is a large desk with a sizeable wardrobe as well. It is absolutely not a 4-star hotel. It is located in a noisy street so we had to change rooms and ask for a room facing the back. The lightning in the room is too strong. There was a bit of mold on the walls, and we often smelled cigarette smoke coming from the ventilation. The worst was the breakfast, it is not continental, and there is no variety. Cold cuts are not conserved in the cold. Beverages were so bad that we saw people bringing their own coffee/juice boxes to breakfast.
