Livro Hotel

I travel to Istanbul often, and Livro is my absolute favorite hotel to stay at. Quiet new building in historic part of the city. Walking distance to all main historic sights and to Grand Bazar. Very quiet to sleep at. Exceptionally clean and well cared for rooms. Great team — they help me with multiple questions and I always schedule airport transfers through them. Very well managed - every detail taken care of. Breakfast top quality and really delicious (I am very demanding regarding quality of food). Nothing

Beautiful and peaceful location, very clean accommodation, and everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was welcoming, and the whole experience was smooth and relaxing. There was nothing to complain about. Everything was great.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful by all means. They helped us with sightseeings, tours, local restaurants. Practically everything. A special thanks to Ferhat, Diyar and Ramadan. They were always available for us.

Located in popular tourist area, close to the major attractions. Quiet at night, tucked away from the noise yet close to the town centre, tram station and restaurants. Slightly cramped rooms but 3 people can share

WiFi signal was great in common areas, but not so much in our specific room.

My stay at the Livro Hotel in Istanbul was absolutely exceptional, and a large part of that was thanks to Yunus at the reception desk. From the moment we arrived, Yunus welcomed us with a genuine smile and open arms, making us feel comfortable and valued right away. He immediately took the time to help us plan our visit, offering recommendations for historical sites, local attractions, restaurants, and other must-see places around Istanbul. His knowledge and willingness to help made navigating the city so much easier and more enjoyable. What truly stood out was the personal connection he created. After just a few days, Yunus felt less like a hotel employee and more like a good friend I had known for a long time. We shared many wonderful conversations, and his kindness, professionalism, and sincere interest in our experience made us feel completely at home. Every time we entered the hotel, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. Those friendly greetings and welcoming atmosphere made a lasting impression and turned a great trip into an unforgettable one. I highly recommend Livro Hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul. Clean, good staff A few streets off but very easy walk. Hard mattress, ask extra pillow, not fussy but need extra for my back. You only get one pillow. All minor things. Great Staff and clean rooms.

Great location near many attractions and restaurants, clean room, friendly front desk staff

Breakfast was fine. It had a limited number of warm/hot selections. Variety of foods seemed to change daily. Kind of hard to get to by taxi. Our original taxi dropped us off a ways from the hotel entrance I think due to traffic bollards at the entrance of the street. The street was a little noisy at night - the hotel didn't seem to have effective sound insulation. (Disposable ear plugs mostly remedied that situation.)

Are room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. The water pressure for the shower was really strong and really good hot water. The location was good, alot of restaurants and shops very close by. Just minutes aware. Also very close to the water front to go to the Asian side and bus stop from and to the airport is only 10 minutes form hotel. We were greeted by Jonas who is at the front desk, he was very kind man and helped us greatly. Best of all was the morning breakfast, it was outstanding. Its had a every nice variety of hot and cold food, excellent coffee and breads. The person incharge of the breakfast buffet, her name was Hasibe. She did a great job in setting up the buffet every morning. The food was excellent and the area was always organized and clean. I looked foreward to breakfast every morning. Also the girl that made up our room every day, really did a great job, every detailed room cleaning. I did not get her name but thank you. We were very happy and would recomend this hotel. Our internet was up and down sometimes.

Breakfast was good. Room we stayed in is clean and good size. Staff was friendly and helpful. We need to check out before breakfast to catch early flight. Staff was very considerate to make us sandwiches to eat on our way to airport.

The rooms were spacious and very comfortable; the location; everything felt clean, modern, well kept. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. No gym, but did not expect it either. It could be a super nice to have.

The hotel is wonderful - looks brand new, clean. The staff is so helpful and nice, I cannot say enough nice things about them. If there is a single reason (and there are many) why you should choose this hotel, it's them. Thank you Kadir, Yunus, Hasibe, we hope to see you all again. Hotel location is perfect and very safe. 10 minutes walk from Hagia Sofia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi, Basilica cistern, Grand Bazaar. It was really nice to be able to come back to the hotel so quickly, then walk and do some sightseeing again, as traffic in Istanbul is very bad. Nothing, I would be hard pressed to think of anything that wasn't perfect.

But what really set this stay apart was the front desk. When my pre-booked taxi to the airport was running late, I was starting to stress about missing my flight — and the front desk person jumped into action immediately. He went completely above and beyond to sort the situation out, and thanks to him I made it to the airport without a hitch. That kind of genuine, proactive helpfulness is rare and made a huge impression on me. It's one thing to have a nice hotel, but it's another to have staff who actually care about your experience. Livro Hotel has both. I wouldn't hesitate to book again and would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
