We had a great experience at this hotel. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Special thanks to Ahmed - he is an amazing person who helped us with everything and made us feel very comfortable. His kindness and professionalism made our stay even better. Thank you for everything!

It’s really nice hotel , so clean and very close to the Grand Bazaar and the Tranrail station, the Grandma that clean the room it’s very nice and she it’s the one that prepare the delicious breakfast ? Everything it’s ok

Breakfast was in a super cold basement without heating or windows. No breakfast buffet as in pictures. You are served a portion of a very basic breakfast. WiFi was unstable and didn't work several occasions. Receptionists speaks very bad English. They try their best and are friendly but very poor English skills.

Breakfast was terrible. There was no heating in the dining room. It was cold. Breakfast was: Two slices of cucumber Two slices of cheese One cube of feta

WiFi didn’t work for 3 days, the shower door was missing, our room was cleaned only once in the whole week, we didn’t get any fresh towels, water nor toilet paper. We arrived at the hotel at 15 and had to wait for half an hour even tho the check-in is at 14. Mostly staff was arrogant. That one time when they cleaned our room they left it unlocked. If you are about to book this hotel, keep in mind that the staff mostly does not speak English. When we first arrived our room card didn’t work, but they fixed it later. The lady working told us that the beds could be moved together, we thought they would do it or at least help, turned out we had to do it alone. As we moved the two beds together they separated in the middle of the night, being so lightweight but comfortable. The shower only had a rain shower and no head shower so it was difficult to take a shower without getting your hair wet.

Worst service ever They haven’t finished the construction of the building the wires everything is out And the room what they gave us was without cleaning after the previous customer Also booked two double room gave us one single room and a room for three adults and asked us to adjust in that

The staff was straightforward, the room for two was nice with the ocean view/balcony. The breakfast was a nice touch and also tasty. It's great stay for the city exploring. Smaller room, lack of more storage.

Good location (in 10 minutes from Grand Bazaar and tram station). The street is not noisy. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help. Good breakfast, you won’t leave hungry. The bed was comfortable, an interesting passive lightning in the bathroom. We booked two rooms (identical in description). One of them was very small and safe was not working, the second one was good size but the card key stopped working every day and we had to go to the reception and recode it every time, it was annoying. I would give 8 points, but added +1 for the staff.

We enjoyed our stay at Mayer Hotel. Nataliya and Svetlana were just amazing - supportive, helpful, kind and caring. The breakfasts were great. The hotel is well situated, not far from the tram line 1 which can take you to the historical center.

This hotel is very well located in the old city center of Istanbul. 15 minutes walking from the Sophia Mosquée. The staff was nice and the room had a beautiful view over the sea. The bedroom was a bit tiny but it does really matter since you are outside most of your stay in Istanbul ?

Its really worth to stay, around $500hkd per night including breakfast Staff is helping and friendly but they only speak simple English words Hotel and room is new after decoration, sea view is very beautiful but room is small, hard to keep two big suit cases. Its better for short trip or one person stay. Hotel locate in busy old town area however hotel itself in small street, will be quiet at night Overall its 8 out of 10! Most of all the very helpful and friendly staff. I have to mention that they helped me to trace my mobile phone which I left behind in a taxi to the airport. How the gentleman managed to do that I don’t know but I am very grateful for his help and also for that of the kind taxi driver who had to turn back to the airport in heavy traffic. Furthermore, we have to compliment the great breakfasts. The mattress could do with replacement but not too bad.

First of all they prepared two rooms and then told us we have to move to another room the next day. The lock of the rooms did not work and can easily be opened by everyone. The rooms were really small and we did not have enough space for our luggages. The refrigerator did not work and there was not any mini bar there, despite the facilities that were advertised on booking.com and there were just 4 warm bottles of water on the table. The beds were not comfortable and the blankets and sheets were really dirty. It was also about the breakfast's tables. In conclusion, I think it was not a good and acceptable place to stay and the information about it on the website was not true. That was terrible and we had to move on another hotel after one night and now they say we were here for nights and we cant pay back your money

Everything was clean The staff very friendly and comfortable The breakfast is wonderful Because of the traffic the area closed and no taxi can enter after 8 or 9 o’clock

Everything is just top! But it was a little bit difficult to find the place without internet! Nice personal, everything is clean! Recommend!!!
