Grand Emir Hotel

I liked everything. The staff and conditions was very good. I enjoyed every minute spending in this hotel. İt üas impossible not to like something.

Dirty room no elevator

The kitchen , food service, cleaning personnel the bathroom was clean and floor and walls were marble but the bed would not fit in it. The hotel is a dump wait for ugly pictures Rude reception a I need just direction of only which way to the location I knew from Tran at each station the have very kind guards but this time he did not understand English. So I gave him my card for hotel he called them and said give direction please so they told home how. All I needed was from the Turkiye bank then knew how it about 7 block with many left and right turns but I had my own direction from hotel to band but not from the Tram exit Two blocks more so now add that to station direction. From the exit Tudor store the right to bank. I asked reception they said turn after one block just walk straight station straight a dead end at Nolan's and Leather store then right ,again the next corner left then walk to next store and continue two more You don't need me to say all turn but the people on street pointed and help to go first time the phone hotel from guard and a room full of men were the night clerk laughing what happened you can't remember the name of your hotel but not ice face next one was day staff for reception and he was rude face and laugh loadly it is so simple just to corner then straight see see he was the lousy direction person at the start Diego was his name laughing from all the men the room. I have been to hotels all over Canada , same for many cities & hotel in USA, Europe to many cities there to Peru to Cuba a Communist country , to Mexico many cities and hotels In Turkiye Istanbul airport , Lionel hotel in Istanbul Kayeser Airport , Cappadocia, Izmir airport , Selçuk, Ephesus Ancient city in Turkey all of these places made feel welcome. Treaded me with dignity and kindness I am 73 years old and travel alone for 29 years. They always treated me with polite smile and kindness and receive the tip appropriate for the cultural norm 10 to 20 % . I never have I been treated so awful never.

Was clean, good location, reserved the wrong date but they helped to change, May try to put better prices

This is nice, little hotel with polite staff and good rooms. Hotel is situated in old city commercial area, very close to Kapali carsi but also Aja Sofia and Blue Mosque. There are plenty of restaurants as well as transportation possibilities like trams, metro etc.

The staff were so good and respectful. A good place, a great breakfast

It qas very hot inside the room, and there was any AC, only heater, which worked even when turned off.

Room was very small and hot. Some fixtures such as the shower head and door knobs were damaged.

Location is the best possible, staff is great and friendly, rooms are cleaned every day, clean towels every day. Breakfast is ok also, same every day, but you can find something to eat Nothing, modest but good hotel

The cleaning Lady cleaned the room properly. The room was clean . Location is very scary , you must make sure you back before it’s dark. Food was horrible , could only eat bread. The food station was so dirty and the staff didn’t clean cups and when you ask they pretend they can’t speak English. The staff not friendly at the front desk , we were not welcomed. I don’t know if it’s because we were from Africa or what only them can explain. The other guests had to assist us with moving around. Taxi drivers are also crooks .

Bed was super comfy and staff very helpful and cheerful Couple of loose handles in room and not great lighting

Everything was good. The receptionist was rude…..but the rest of the staff were nice.

Staff not familiar

The location is close to most of the tourist places,just walking distance and the stuff there were very friendly.

Centrally located and their beds are comfortable Very friendly and helpful staff

The staff was noisey and they woke up us very early in the morning plus the room was literally in the basement with no windows and proper air circulation.
