The building was the highlight. Most staff were friendly and helpful. We requested a refund for the rest of the stay and the staff was able to make it happen even though the booking was non refundable. We moved to another hotel. No AC. My room did not get cooler than 27C or 80.6F. They changed my room but because the AC was centralized there was no difference between the two rooms. Staining on sheets. Sheets were clean but stained. The neighborhood was not suitable for tourism.

We had a great view from our room, which was clean and quite spacious. Nearby, there was a confectionery, coffee shop, and restaurant called Kuban, where we enjoyed tea and Baklava. We also loved the Turkish bath inside the hotel. The hotel is quite far from most tourist attractions, so we ended up spending a lot of time commuting by metro and taxi.

It was an excellent experience, and I will repeat it again. The staff are very helpful and welcoming, specially Amin & Tuncay at the reception and also Senih Bey. And the valet guy, I don't remember his name. Breakfast is very good, location is very good, the facilities are very good. We really enjoyed our stay. In general it was an excellent experience. I just have two comments to make things better: 1) the parking area is too tight and not well organized, however, there is a nice option to give the car to the valet guy and he will manage to park it for you, so this didn't bother me at all. 2) what I really didn't like is the annoying push to give the highest rating and insisting to do it on the spot. I have already given the hotel rating 9, but if the lady did not keep insisting on the highest rating in annoying way on every room in our group, I would have given them 10 points.

The breakfast is rich, coffee is very nice; there is a good free underground parking and the hotel is in about 5-10 minutes walking distance to the metro line. Bathroom is very large and clean. The rooms look very sad, they definitely need renovation and furniture change. One huge problem is that it is blowing from the closed windows. In the winter with so much wind in the city you can feel it inside the room. Besides that you cannot adjust the air condition - it is centralized programmed which means that it may be very cold or very hot in the room and there is nothing to do. The water pressure from the shower is so low that you can hardly take a normal shower. For more than 20 years holidays in Turkey I have never seen so unfriendly personal in a hotel. Especially by the reception desk - even Hello is missing.

When my friend cone to visit me in room i had to pay 1400 TL about 35$ just to let him pass to my room without sleeping in the room or use anything
