Smart and Simple Hotel Karakoy

Very good location in the heart of Karakoy, near public transport, galataport and 10-15 mins walk from Galata tower or taksim. Very clean rooms and friendly staff. Their standard room is a bit tight on space, we were having trouble where to place our bags.

It was right in the heart of Karakoy and an easy walk to the bridge. There were so many things within distance. Honestly nothing. It was perfect for what I needed.

Excellent location, with restaurants, cafés, pubs, shops, the tram stop, and ferry terminal all just a short walk away. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe in the area at all times. The room was clean, good shower, and the bed was very comfortable. Pınar and Metin were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. I especially appreciated—and looked forward to—engaging conversations and fresh tea with Metin. Their genuine hospitality made my visit even more enjoyable and memorable. The view from the Standard Double Room was disappointing and quite unappealing. A sink plug would be a useful addition for guests wishing to wash a few small or ‘hand wash only’ items by hand, especially since there are no convenient laundromats nearby.

Central hotel with clean and functional rooms

Location - good for people who like to go out to restaurants and clubs. - The bed was too short; my feet stuck out. I am 1m83. - Noisy - Shower drain was slow; I almost flooded the bathroom. - The room was very small.

We arrived later than expected due to flights delay, we only had to pay for the day we stayed. Then we departed before breakfast, had early flight during the night. The staff and the room was nice.

We stayed 3 nights, the location was perfect. You have bus station, metro station and ferry port all there, 5 minutes walking. The guys Tariyel, Emre and Metin were very helpful, very kind, they informed us for everything we asked and I would highly recommend this place!!! I need to mention that during the night was very quiet and no noisy at all. I will definitely go back whenever I have the chance to visit Istanbul ? -

Brand new renovated hotel with modern decor . Staff is friendly and attentive and the place is spotless. No breakfast but free coffee downstairs and a kettle in your room. Great location with a neighborhood of one restaurant and bar after another and a tram and bus stop a block away. Maybe a little heavier top cover. I like a little more weight on me when I sleep.

Your hotel is very clean, in a very convenient and nice location, with kind staff, and the 24-hour access to coffee and tea is excellent!

I really liked the hotel, and especially the reception staff’s service was excellent—really great people, all of them willing to help.

I can only say nice things about this Hotel as there is nothing that I didn't like. I will reccomend it to everyone I know that is going to Istanbul.

It had a very good location and as the hotel itself was small, it was peaceful because there were not a lot of other guests. In the room there was everything that was necessary, even a fridge and a little package of toothpaste. The staff was friendly.
