Aybar Hotel & Spa

Great location, friendly staff. The room was two adjacent rooms with one bathroom in the basement. It was comfortable with a teenage boy. On the whole, there were no big problems, it is a great little hotel. There was a strange smell in the breakfast room. The spa was closed, but the booking page did not say so. Breakfast was OK, nothing special was served. Cold cuts, bread and juices of not a very high quality.

It was located in the center of Istanbul, close to all attractions. It was quiet and clean. The fist day we needed to change the room as rhe bed was broken. A little bit of attention to all these details is required.

Located near all the main attractions and just 6 minutes walk to the airport bus and tram station. The staff are wonderful, breakfast was mostly cheese, meats, bread and cake. I would have loved to see fresh fruit! Otherwise a wonderful stay More fruits at breakfast would be nice

We would have preferred a single double/queen bed rather than two single mattresses pushed together. We had a basement room with limited natural lighting.

Location was great, staff were very welcoming and helpful, breakfast was good, with a variety of healthy options, towels were changes everyday and room was cleaned.

Everything was wonderful

The Air conditioner didn't work in my room so it was uncomfortable during the day but at night I left sliding door to balcony open and that helped. Bathroom pretty small

Location and also the price with breakfast included. But the location is the real plus: 5 min walking from blue mosque and also the tram which brings to eminonu,Galata etc.. Wi-fi is not always working properly. The bed: it wasn’t a queen/king size bed but two single bed who were joint.

clean .food is good..staff is super duper nice and friendly and the location was very superb..10 minutes walk to hagia grand bazar bluemosque topkapi..all the tourist attraction..5 minutes to tram station.. transport like hotel transfer or bus for daytrip travel not able to fetch u infront in the hotel becoz not able to access ..need to walk a bit..but when i went to airport.staff help me to carry the bag to my transport..

Location was perfect, most of the historical areas and tourist spots are walking distance. If you prefer to take public transport, the metro is only a 3 min walk. We felt safe staying there and it was quiet at night considering how central it was. The bathroom is quite outdated. You can see the rot on the corners of the shower door & it made the place look unkempt.

The staff were incredible. Very friendly and went above and beyond. Delicious breakfast. Excellent Location and comfortable room. Some cosmetic damage to the walls in the room like tears in the wallpaper and small holes.

This was my 3rd time staying at the hotel. It caters to all your basic needs. A clean hotel with decent sized rooms (superior rooms are bigger). The staff are kind, friendly, and very helpful, especially Kerem and Serkan. The bell boy Typho went out of his way to prepare my Sehri (Ramadan meal) on a daily basis. The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. It also has food outlets, money exchange shops, and the tram station minutes away from the hotel. If i didn't travel alone, I would have preferred a toilet door with a lock instead of sliding doors.

Location cannot be beat -- steps from the Blue Mosque/Hippodrome/Hagia Sofia, steps from the tram, steps from restaurants and shops -- but located on a quiet alleyway. Breakfast was fine and the staff were friendly, particularly the housekeeper. They also arranged our airport transportation in very comfortable vehicles. The room was not huge, but there was a nice wide bench where we could both lay out our carry-on suitcases. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very nice. When I asked the front desk attendant for recommendations of more affordable restaurants, he wasn't able to name any, although he did point me toward an area not far away on my map. We ended up not going that way, so I cannot report on whether it was helpful.

The property was very centrally located, and the friendly concierge gave excellent local recommendations to help us enjoy our stay and save money.

The location is great It isn’t a spa in hotel spa. They are in reconstruction, but they offered another hotel for spa
