Carina Gold Hotel and Restaurant

This the best hotel location you could ask for, it’s near everything! Staff specially (Gorhan) was kind & professional he offered us to use his Tram card, clean and modern furniture The breakfast was really bad, regardless of the wide variety but not fresh and not tasty, also there was no voice isolation between rooms

Everything from the staff in lobby to the rooms outstanding ? will always come to this hotel if I am in Istanbul

We had a wonderful stay! The staff were incredibly polite, welcoming, and always ready to help. The rooms were spotless, and they were kind enough to change our room to better suit our needs, which we really appreciated. Their hospitality made us feel truly cared for from the moment we arrived. A special thank you to Şemseddin, Rıdvan, Burhan, and Muhammed for going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy throughout our stay. Your kindness and dedication made our experience even more memorable. The shower cabinet had no door and they forgot to replace it.

The location was great The rooms were small and had no amenities like nice soap, shampoo, etc

The staff was amazing ! They immediately found a wheelchair for my mother, and didn’t charge me anything for it. They took care of my mother perfectly, and I am so thankful. On our next visit to Istanbul we will definitely come back to this hotel.

Great Location: The hotel is within walking distance to Topkapi Castle, Blue Mosque, Hagie Sophia & the Basicilia Cistern. It is close to Tram Stations. The area is safe to walk around at night. There are good restaurants close by. The room was spacious, clean & well maintained. There was plenty of space for suitcases & personal supplies in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable. The shower was powerful. The shower door covered the entire width of the shower & did not leak. The reception desk was always staffed. They were all very helpful. They spoke English & were very knowledgable about the area & activities available for tourists. Special Thanks to Shams who always went out of his way to be helpful. Breakfast was very good. There was always a wide variety of items to choose from. If I could offer one suggestion, I would have more "sweet" items to choose from on the breakfast bar - i.e. muffins, sweetrolls etc.

Nice location Friendly staff Hotel mention that has parking , while arriving i had to pay 50€ for one night ,they say not included Even tho at the parking the price were listed and it was less then 25€ per day

I have nothing to add. I will choose Carina Gold again next time I visit.

The hotel is in walking distance of the main attractions such as Ayasofia, Blue Mosque, Topcapy and Basilica Cistern. Very clean and amazing staff The rooms are small however we did not spend much time in there anyway.

This hotel was in a great location and within walking distance to the main tourist attractions in Istanbul. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful especially since my partner is handicapped. We ate at the restaurant on site there and the food was excellent. The room was a bit small and the mattresses not very comfortable but all was very clean and attractive. I wish the bathroom had grab bars near the toilet and in the shower.

My stay at this hotel in Istanbul was a great experience overall. As a solo traveler, I really appreciated how clean and safe everything felt. The hotel provided a comfortable environment, which helped me feel at ease throughout my trip. One of the best parts was the location. It was conveniently close to the main attractions, which made it easy to explore the city without much hassle. That convenience really added to the enjoyment of my visit. The only downside was the food. I didn’t enjoy the meals offered at the hotel, which was a bit disappointing. Luckily, there are places to eat nearby, so it wasn’t a major issue.

I will start with the receptionists (Halil, Burhan and Salih) who were welcoming and helpful. They gave recommendations and good tips of how to enjoy the maximum of our holiday in Istanbul. Moreover, the rooms were clean and comfortable. In addition, the breakfast was good. There were variety of options.Finally, the location was perfect. Few minutes away from the most common attractions in the European side of Istanbul. Nothing to mention

Breakfast not so wonderful for Western tastes. But hey / you’re in Turkey.

Perfect location with very pleasant staff… Walls were a bit thin… We could hear the other guests intheir rooms.

The best thing about the hotel above other things was the location , there is a tram station next to it , Burger King just 2 mins walk away , Sulhatahmed area just 10 mins walk away , the rooms were clean and comfortable, we were upgraded so that was wonderful, the breakfast was yummy , different kinds of Turkish cheeses and jams etc ….the staff were wonderful as well, always happy to help with a smile on their face , and very knowledgeable, special thanks to Burhan ..he was great …I would stay in the same hotel if I come back to Istanbul in the future….
