Hotel Nena

Location was excellent and the staff were always friendly. Despite being very central, the street is quiet and we never had any noise or other similar disturbances. Two negative things stood out. First, the room was very small - in some areas even difficult for two people to pass at the same time. The photos on the website did not do justice to our room. Second, the breakfast was not great. To be fair, I might have been expecting too much, given how amazing is turkish cuisine. But for example, the bread seemed that industrial type bought in the supermarket and the taste of items like omelet and accompaniments was not impressive.

The room was comfortable, with a thoughtful range of amenities: everything I needed was right at hand. I'd especially like to highlight the staff: attentive and friendly, always a pleasure to talk to, and they even helped me with my luggage at check-in. The breakfasts deserve special praise — a good variety of dishes, all fresh and delicious, making every morning a real pleasure. I'll happily return to this hotel again and recommend it to my friends with complete confidence!

Super clean and very comfortable. Best thing was the view from the balcony. A+++++ BEWARE: The hotel staff recommended we have dinner at the restaurant next door: Hürrem Sultan Lounge. After we paid the bill for a pretty good meal, the waiter returned and said that if we wanted to tip, he needed to run our card again. When we returned home we found that we had been charged the entire amount of the meal twice. This was not a mistake. The restaurant was definitely scamming us as tourists. Hotel Nena should not be sending guests to this nearby restaurant — and perhaps was taking part in the scam.

We loved our stay at Nena hotel. The location is great. Attractions and restaurants are within walking distance. The staff is amazing. Breakfast was wonderful and the view was breathtaking. We loved it and would gladly book it again. Nothing to dislike.

My stay was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Everything went smoothly, from check-in to check-out. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Hotel Nena is located in the fantastic area of Sultanahmet, they offer a complimentary breakfast included in the price. It's very close to the tram network and major sightseeing areas. The staff were excellent, especially Aziz and Erkan, who were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The hotel and its facilities were of a high standard. The rooms were clean and tidy. My only advice is to be aware when signing up for tours on arrival. We were not clearly informed that extra costs, such as attraction tickets and meals, were not included in the already quite high price. Also, the tour was mainly a walking tour rather than a vehicle-based tour.

I loved everything about my stay! The staff felt like family. They were so attentive and kind. It was my first time in Istanbul and I didn’t know what to expect. Everyone was willing to help with whatever was needed (airport transfer. tour guide, restaurant recommendations). The location is perfect. Close to everything. Highly recommend. I didn’t like that I only had 3 nights. Next time I’m staying longer.

Personnel is always willing to help, correct and very respectful. They had given very good insights about places to shop, restaurants and places to visit. Our room was a standard which is a very small room for two.

Honestly, can’t say enough good things about Hotel Nena! The vibe here is great, but what really made our trip was the staff. The reception crew was incredibly friendly and always super welcoming every time we walked through the lobby. The biggest lifesaver, though, was on our last morning. We had a super early flight to catch and were bummed to miss breakfast, but they completely surprised us and packed a whole breakfast to go. It was such a thoughtful touch and made a stressful travel morning so much easier. If you're visiting Istanbul, definitely stay here. The hospitality is unmatched and they really look out for you. We’ll 100% be back! Nothing.

A great location

We came as a family of 3 and had some luggages woth us. The room although is very nice and clean is too small to be comfortable. The TV was also malfunction
