The older gentleman at the front desk was impatient and rude. Very pushy and too used-car salesman-like.

This was a return visit to Faros. The staff are very helpful. It’s clean. The breakfast is generous and tasty. It is in a perfect location for sightseeing and good restaurants. Everything is walkable. Excellent English language bookstore nearby. On the tram line. It was more expensive than the last time I visited, 18 months ago. Perhaps everything is.

Room was very spacious, awesome location and view of the main Sultanahmet neighborhood, The break fast has few dishes such as scrambled egg + cheese roll+ potato veges or veggies . Remaining all milk and cereal + yogurt . It an average breakfast , but fulfills your breakfast requirements As we are from Saudi Arabia & Muslims /Islamic values, we have to have a ablution shower at W/C to wash , which is missing in this Bathroom/wc , the w/c has a bidet fixing shower - which most Muslims will not use for ablution, Rest all is awesome .

Best lication to be in Istanbul to explore. Staffs are excellent, always helping. Breakfast options were very limited.

The tall guy at reception was great he helped and was only good person we met, breakfast was good and room was solid. I think this hotel is too good to be in that location. Location was the worst when you leave hotel everything is full of scammers and frauds.

Location was great to major sites and to tram. Friendly staff, helpful with transfer. Only one bed side lamp. 20% reduction in restaurant did not apply if only having a drink.

The location was excellent. Only walking distance from multiple sightseeing locations and the train. The breakfast was different everyday which was nice and it was very good. The rooms were clean. The only thing to take into consideration it’s whether if you are a light sleeper. The train is only a few steps from the hotel and it runs every 5 minutes. I’m a derp sleeper, but brought a sound machine to make sure I didn’t hear the train. Oh and the staff was AMAZING!!! The train being so close.
